Dr. Christine Dean Gray, MD

My PCP called in sick, and Dr. Gray was called to sub, driving from Vancouver to Longview. She was an outstanding substitute, and one I would welcome anytime. Her manner was very warm and put me totally at ease throughout. Dr. Gray demonstrated interest and concern in my concerns, reviewed the tests I had done in preparation for my appointment, and patiently answered my many questions. As she worked to diagnose my symptoms, she was also able to alleviate my concerns by letting me know what possible illnesses I DIDN’T have. That was very reassuring. I was also appreciative of her referrals to Specialists for follow-up.on some medical issues. I know she was busy, but we definitely covered a LOT of health issues, and I never felt rushed. Highly recommend Dr. Gray.

Dr. Gray patiently listened to my medical concerns, symptoms, and medical history. I felt taken seriously and (unlike often in today's medical world) I did not feel rushed. She spent a fair amount of time addressing my issue and explaining options. The exam I had at urgent care was thorough and she was both very personable and professional.

This doctor was incredibly rude and did not care about my treatment at all. She kept laughing whenever I said an explanation for a question and did a sort of "ah ha!" when she felt like she caught me in a lie. She did NOT evaluate my condition at all and hardly even took the time to be in the room with me except to grill me on my medication use. The only thing she did for me was write in my chart and have her medical assistant shove me out the door when she was done talking at me. I have been seen at this urgent care several times and have never had a doctor treat me the way she treated me. She needs a job that doesn't require social interaction because she is rude and cold.

I cannot speak for the previous and obvious malcontent that wrote the prior review, but for myself I found Dr. Gray personable , kind and easy to talk to. She LISTENED very attentively and with genuine concern and interest. My affliction is not necessary to go into at this time, but suffice it to say Dr. Grey put my mind at ease and I found her diagnosis and further recommendations reasonable and sound. As for the drama, fibromyalgia case: some people you give them lemons, and they complain because they're not oranges.

To Whom it may concern, I have suffered for 6 yrs. now with fibromyalgia and chronic pain related to many illnesses and surgeries. Went into urgent care on 3/26/12 and saw Dr. Gray for excruciating pain in my right lower back area had been present for 4 days and battled going in, but finally gave in and went. Dr. Gray was more focused on questioning me on my current medication list than she was on my syptoms that brought me to urgent care in the first place.I have enough doctors on my team including pian management specialists. I dont need a general practice physician giving me 20 questions about my medications and why I am taking them. I really needed her to focus on the pain I was in and evaluate why it was happening. she had me lay down on the table after being very rude and incinuating a pulled muscle, I asked if I could sit up cause I wasnt comfortable and she saw I was struggling didnt bother to help me up as I had to kick the table leg slide in myself. I was really upset with… her level of care and concern for my condition. My visit was a complete and total waste of time I left with as much information as I had shown up with and got to play 20 questions about my medications! Not pleased. Had previously been seen at this urgent care by a male Dr. very nice man who had to send me to providence portland after diagnosing tendosynovitis/cellulitis for emergency surgery thanks to him I keep my finger. Just be proactive about your care and if you feel like the doctor has a diagnosis when she walks in then u need to walk out. Cause a good patient history is key to a diagnosis. Like I said I have seen alot of doctors in my life and Dr. Gray is added to the no see list which currently only has 3 on it, but she is number 1 for sure. Sorry but true, horrible care!
