I have seen Dr Hunter for about 7 years now and 2 babies I love her and her staff. She listens to my concerns and in my opinion the best OB in Charleston.

My wife was seeing this doctor for various things. During the course of her visits, she was diagnosed with severe endometriosis (which was true). Due to this, she pushed on my wife to begin various things to try and get pregnant as it would be difficult for her, both physically and due to age. Per referral, by her, we went to a fertility specialist that through the course of treatment, shot my wife's hormone levels through the roof to dangerous levels! Also, she lists as one of the procedures she performs as Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. This is a joke as when she performed it on my wife (we were told should take about an hour), I went to the cafe in the hospital and the Anesthesiologist came in about 20-25 min later. Upon seeing this, I went to find out what was going on with my wife and in the 5min she took to explain things to me, stated that she was not skilled enough to address the procedure. Another time, before the surgery, I had to take my wife to an emergency clinic on a… Sunday morning due to her waking up in the middle of the night in pain. So much pain, that when I found her on the bathroom floor at 3am it was all she (my wife) could do not to get me to call 911. After seeing the doctor at the emergency clinic we were informed to go to my wife's OB (Dr. Hunter) on Monday morning first thing. When we arrived at the office and informed them, until I started to get loud in the waiting room, stated that she was fully booked that day and would not be able to see her. I have no confidence in this Doctor other than possibly for basic items. My wife still has health problems that did not occur until Dr. Hunter first performed the surgical procedure on her. If you have another option, use it!!

I love this doctor! She delivered my son and as soon as I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd, I requested her! She was incredibly sweet and listened to my concerns. Saw me any time I needed and answered all my questions. I've even ran into her outside of the office and she remembered my name, asked me different things and even gave me advice on her own time. I wouldn't go to any other doctor. She is the best!

Too long of a wait in the waiting room. Desk staff does nothing to keep you informed as to how long it will be. Also, it took over a week for the office to call me back with blood test results. Most places call you in a day or two. I arrived in a prompt manner but felt that my time was not valued . Dr Hunter seems to be a very competent and respected physician, however, I think the other issues are equally important.

This doctor is the absolute worst doctor i have ever seen. My primary is Dr.Accetta who is WONDERFUL, but one time i had to see her and it was the worst experience ever. I would never reccomend her for anyone! Horrible bedside manner and absolutely no consideration for your feelings!!

Dr. Hunter has always been very kind, professional, and thorough. I feel at ease for the first time with a OBGYN professional.

Seems to move patients through like cattle, no time spent. Could be the doctor, could be the way the office management wants it. (Heard stories of doctors quitting practices becuase they have a patient quota to meet). I was in the office over an hour, in with the doc for less than 5 min and she didn't diagnose me right. I had to go to ER two days later.

Dr.Hunter was completely rude and inconsiderate to patients feelings. I was pregnant at the time of my office visit and she was not my normal Physician(she was filling in). I would NOT reccomend anyone seeing her.
