Dr. Christine Marie Jose, MD

Dr. Jose ordered me duplicate tests to take for a medical problem I’ve been experiencing. All the tests are coming back negative. She refused to give me a referral to see a specialist. She didn’t give me a good reason why and had a very arrogant, dismissive attitude. She sent me a very unprofessional email. I don’t understand why she takes it as a personal affront that I’m asking to seek a specialist. I’m just trying to figure out what is wrong with me. It’s very frustrating to experience this kind of treatment when you’re sick and not feeling well.

I have seen Dr. Jose for quite some time, but I am changing providers even though I will have to travel a greater distance. I don't think that I ever thought that she was a great provider, but I just kept her since I don't go to the doctor very often. Then, my last visit lasted maybe five minutes, if that, and she mentioned she would follow up on some missing test. She never did. I was nervous about a health ailment, and my visit ended with me feeling rushed. I felt like I did not get any clear answers or explanations, and I would prefer someone who is more articulate and thorough. She is also t the urgent care clinic at the hospital now, which also isn't equipped to do pap smears. And she has a reduced schedule with limited availability.

I have had Dr. Jose as a patient for the past 4 1/2 years. She is the best primary care physician I have ever had. I highly recommend.

I like doctor Jose. She makes you feeling very comfortable and she reassure you. She is very delicate with the patient and provide adequate care. Highly recommended.

Have been seeing this doctor about twice a year currently have a health situation and will be seeing her for the third time in a month.. Not very caring. Spend at the most 5 minutes with me. Just frustrated as I cannot seem to get help from her or an ounce of caring. Going to switch providers if she just doesn't seem to understand. I get everyone has bad days but if it is consistent with your fare then find a different career

I sent a message one night through the patient portal with a high fever and sore throat. At 8:00 a.m. the next morning, her medical assistant, Jocelyn, called and asked if I could come in at 11:00 so Dr. Jose could see me. I was supposed to fly out to the mainland the next day! It turned out I had to cancel because I had strep throat!!! The complications of untreated strep throat are very serious. She put me on antibiotics asap, and recommended I delay my trip (which I did). Her compassionate, thorough, and professional demeanor is reassuring. She is very deserving of her "Top Doc" recognition in Honolulu magazine this year! Her staff is outstanding, and her office is lovely!!!!

I am 72 years old and have gone to many caring physicians through out the years. Dr Badke is absolutely so thorough and professional; I give her top ratings. I give her a 5 out of 5. If you want a care provider that listens and cares I highly recommend her.
