Dr. Christine Alice Kerr, MD

Dr. Kerr joined the Medical staff of HRHCare in September of 2008 and practices at both our Peekskill office in the Internal Medicine department and also at our Monticello office. Dr. Kerr received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology from Amherst College. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Buffalo. Dr. Kerr completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital and was Chief Resident in Internal Medicine while at Brown. Dr. Kerr completed a fellowship in Infectious Disease and HIV Medicine at Harvard University/Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston, Massachusetts. She is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease with the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has been a faculty member at Harvard University and Brown University and currently teaches visiting students at HRHCare. Honors include the Zaleski award for high standards of academic achievement with outstanding service to the community, the …Haffenreffer Award for excellence in biomedical sciences, and the Kass Award for excellence in clinical care. She is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, American Society of Travel Medicine and the HIV Medical Association. Dr. Kerr is licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York.
