Dr. Christine Mazzola Khandelwal, DO

I'd be TERRIFIED to be under Dr Khandelwal's care. She serves on the NC Board of Medicine that has categorically denied that any wrongdoing took place on behalf of Atrium Health when they even clearly admitted to failing to properly document that I take MAOI medications in my health record, later resulting in serotonin syndrome after inappropriate anesthesia was used later requiring 4 extra admissions and an induced coma. She should be ASHAMED to be such a failure in her responsibilities to protect patient's interests and enforce accepted standards of medical care as a member of the BOM!

What more can I say except she is the very best. She is patient, kind, compassionate, understanding, and best of all listens and takes action to help with anything you may need. She is very smart and digs until she knows exactly how to help. Love this doc.

Finally a doctor who cares. She addressed all of our concerns and had a wonderful "bedside manner" She is thorough and we have gained much trust in her. There's not many docs out there like this one anymore!!!

She is a great doctor! She truly cares about her patients.

There is something "off" with this lady. She is manipulative (it can be subtle at times) and will push the patient in her preferred direction. I recommend finding another doctor.
