Dr. Christine Marie Larson, MD

Dr. Larson is the best!! She is caring and listens to your concerns. She is honest with the course of actions that should be taken! I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Larson as I feel she genuinely cares about my health and safety as well as by unborn child. I recommend using Dr. Larson for your OB needs

I've been seeing Dr. Larson for a variety of concerns over the past 20+ years. She has always shown compassion toward my concerns and given options for treatments. I find Dr. Larson to be candid but always personable and professional.

Horrible. No compassion at all. Me and my son almost died from a placental abruption. Went to the appointment for her and she was CRUEL. I legit left crying. She blamed me for this happening. She said I’d suggest not having more kids unless you can get your lupus under control. Ok, I went to a doctor HERE who said lupus will not do anything for me getting pregnant prior to getting pregnant. She kept making crappy comments. Saying she doesn’t believe I’m on 75 mg daily of Zoloft even tho Nystrom set that dosage. Asking why I stopped taking a prenatal if I’m anemic. Sorry I didn’t ever hear I was anemic til today. So disrespectful moment she walked in “ I don’t even know why your here , why wouldn’t you just go to who you were following for pregnancy”.

I have been a patient for many years and love her!

I was just 18 when I first visited Dr. Larson. She was incredibly judgmental in her tone and comments about how many partners I had been with. Also, when I came back a second time she gave me a pap smear with absolutely no warning or talking me through it. I has never had one before so was very shocked and uncomfortable with what happened. It was extremely painful and I screamed, but that didn't make her stop or change what she was doing. Overall, I think she was incredibly unprofessional and unsuited to work with younger women.

This doctor threatened to contact my employer and put me on medical leave before my baby was born because she said I had to have a C-Section THREE weeks before my due date. This was my third child, so I knew there was no reason to have him that early. The baby and I were doing fine, but she insisted that I have by a certain date. She threatened me and then lied to me so that I would go into the hospital on the date that she wanted. I found out the day of the c-section (from her office staff) that she was going on vacation and wanted my baby to be delivered before she left. She put me and the baby at risk TO GO ON VACATION. My body was not ready for the baby to come so early, so I had no milk for him. Fairview Southdale nurses pumped me up with painkillers and hormones, per Dr. Larson, they said, even though I said I wanted no drugs, and she was not around to consult (she left for her vacation right after my baby was born.) My son is now 6 years old, and I will NEVER forget the… horrible care from this doctor. I have bladder and uterine problems because the c-section was done badly. I caution ANY mom-to-be to look elsewhere for medical care. The skill level of this doctor is questionable, especially if you need a c-section. This was not my first child, nor my first c-section, so I knew what to expect. My current scar is still inflamed, painful, and wide. It is 10 times worse than the first one. My baby was too small, and needed that extra week or two to grow and mature. And here's the kicker: when I interviewed her at the start of my pregnancy, I asked her if she would be traveling anytime near the due date. She assured me that she wouldn't go anywhere and would be there for me. I made it clear that any other answer meant I had to find a different doctor so, for her to lie to me like that was a huge betrayal of my trust. Also, after the baby was born, I received no reminders or calls from anyone at that clinic asking how I was or how the baby was. I received no follow-up notice for an appointment. I called reception to ask when I was supposed to come back in for a recheck, and they said they couldn't find anything indicating I was a patient there! I have never been treated so badly by a doctor, and the office were just as bad. I will literally never be the same after her "services."

Dr. Larson is a wonderful Dr! She is kind, curteous and clearly well skilled in her work.
