I am so grateful for finding Dr. LaSala! She was honest and straightforward. I have a condition she is not used to seeing and she let me know this surgery wouldn’t be a good option. Other doctors wanted to do this surgery on me. She took the time to review test results, examined me thoroughly. She did much more than other doctors, I can’t say enough and I can tell you because she was my second opinion for surgery and I can’t tell you how many doctors Ive seen for this condition that didn’t thoroughly check me. She was kind, patient and I trust her. I still have more to do for my condition but I am so grateful for her and her guidance, honesty and genuine care for my condition. Thank you Dr. LaSala!

Dr. LaSala was recommended to me by my regular GYN for moderate to severe pelvic floor prolapse issues, with both a cystocele and rectocele. I had previously undergone uterine cancer surgery eventually resulting in vaginal vault prolapse. Three major areas were in need of repair. Discomfort was constant. I met with Dr. LaSala who understood my concerns and my desire to function 'normally' again and she offered hope, with cautionary explanations of what her approach would be. After receiving a second opinion from an outstanding uro-gynecologist in Boston who echoed what I had been told by Dr. LaSala, I moved forward with Dr. LaSala because of her Connecticut location. Now 5 months post surgery I am very happy with the results. I have returned to a normal, and more fulfilling sex life with my partner, no discomfort at all. All aspects of my uro-gynecological funtioning are what one would hope to have. I would highly recommend Dr. LaSala to any woman experiencing pelvic organ prolapse,… she is a woman who understands a woman's needs and desires.

It is rare to find a doctor that takes the time during the visit to help the patient really understand what is happening. When I went to see Dr. LaSala she spent over an hour with me. I recently had extensive surgery done by Dr. Lasala. She did an excellent job. She does not sugar coat what the procedure is and is very honest in how you feel after the surgery. Dr. LaSala is one of the most knowledgeable, caring, compassionate medical professionals bringing much needed attention and options to a field in which women have been silently suffering. She has a wonderful sense of humor and outstanding bedside manner that makes you feel comfortable about discussing "issues" that up until now have not had many successful treatment options. She has a fantastic team and everyone from the front office receptionist to the supporting medical staff were of the highest quality. Can not say enough about the positive experience I had with Dr. LaSala and her staff.

After spending 10 years Not getting the Prolaspe (rectocele and entrocele)surgery because my male Gyno said it would very like destroy my sex life, my symptoms were so bad i had to do something.Accidentally, I met someone who had just used Dr. Lasalla and they were thrilled with her. I scheduled and appt. and had the surgery 10 weeks ago. I am very happy...she was clear as what to expect, positive at the possible good outcome, professional but able to empathize with my concerns. I feel good and am ahead of schedule in my recovery. Soon I will attempt to be intimate with my husband and I feel certain all will be fine :)This is a big step as the recovery is intense but with a great DR. it is doable. Plan on staying abed for 2 weeks and then do hardly nothing for another 4.You do not have to go through the rest of your life using your hand to evacuate or never have an intimate relationship with your husband again.I recommend this DR. full heartedly.It takes awhile to get an appt. She is… THAT good !

Because of uterus prolapse, needed complete hysterectomy and reconstruction of bladder, bowels, etc. Surgery was completed with no problems.
