Dr. Christine M Diblasi, DDS

About Dr. DiBlasi
Dr. Christine DiBlasi Laster grew up in Clearwater, FL but left the Sunshine State to attend American University in Washington, DC.  At American she studied Biology, and was awarded a bachelors degree, Magna Cum Laude, in 1996.  She fostered her education in the biological sciences by doing research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.  She focused on two areas- cellular histamine release and Sjogren’s syndrome, a disease affecting both saliva and tear production.  Christine also swam competitively for the American University Division I swim team.
Following undergrad, Christine traveled south to the great state of North Carolina to pursue her dental education.  She graduated in 2000 with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill- School of Dentistry.  She is proud to have graduated from this nationally recognized dental education program.  It was in dental school that Dr. DiBlasi met her husband Stewart, began competing in …triathalons, and became a big fan of Tar Heel basketball.  She loved her time here so much that she decided to call the triangle area home. 
Since graduating Dr. Christine has honed her dental skills by working in several private practices as well as some practices that serve the underprivliged.  She has a passion for helping those in need and doing dental mission work.  Dr. DiBlasi loves to work on both adults and children.  She finds her greatest fulfillment in her personal interactions with her patients and staff.
Dr. DiBlasi and her husband, Stewart married in 2001 and moved to Raleigh in 2004.  Stewart is an orthodontist and is the owner of Brunk and Laster Orthodontics, also here in North Raleigh.  They both love serving their patients, and sharing their daily clinical experiences with one another.  They especially love working on their patients’ cases together, establishing relationships with the families they treat.  Dr. DiBlasi enjoys long distance running, fitness, travel and church activities with her husband and children. She has run multiple half marathons and finished her first full marathon in Myrtle Beach, SC in February 2008. They are members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Raleigh and have three young children- Catie, Caroline and Will.
