Dr. Christine Anderson Love has been practicing periodontics in Brighton, Michigan since 1982. Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, Dr. Love received three degrees over a 10-year period from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene in 1976, her DDS degree in 1980, and a Master of Science degree in periodontics in 1982. During dental school, Dr. Love was awarded the Louis C. Schultz Award for excellence in Operative Rehabilitation, the R. W. Bunting Study Club Award, and the Arthur H. Merritt Award for Excellence in periodontics, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honorary fraternity for the top 10% of the graduating class. While in graduate school, Dr. Love completed research in immunology and in 1982 received an honorable mention in the Balint Orban competition, a research competition for graduate students in periodontics.
Dr. Love is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Michigan Periodontal …Association, the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Livingston District Dental Society. Dr. Love is a founder and was the first president of the Livingston District Dental Society in 1995. She is actively involved in VINA Community Dental Center (www.vinadental.org) as an active fund raiser and volunteer.
Dr. Love and her husband, Dr. Robert Love, have three grown children and live in Hamburg Township.
