Dr. Christine Noelle Mcginn, DO

When things go RIGHT, she is excellent. HOWEVER; when there are problems of complications she is less than professional and has proven to be less than interested in addressing or making any effort to correct the issues. She has abandoned patients with complications to fend for themselves.

Everything with McGinn is great UNTIL you have a problem. Easy to be great at your profession until such time as there is a complication with the surgery. Neither she nor her staff would address the problem which required surgery by another surgeon to correct. Poor follow up and concern for problems.

Dr. McGinn is a top notch surgeon, with an excellent staff. I was inline for surgery at another place, with over a year waiting list, when I stumbled across Dr. McGinn, and I am so thankful I did. I was able to get in, in just 2 months time. It was a lot of work to get everything done I needed to, but where there's a will... It cost me a little bit more as it was out of network, but when you consider the surgery you are getting, would you want to go with anything but the best? Dr. McGinn was a joy, with a great sense of humor, and I cant say enough about her abilities, and dedication to her patients. She even came in on her day off to take care of a few popped stitches, so that I was able to keep my schedule to fly back home. Her and her staff are always going beyond the call of duty, to make sure their patients are well cared for. And the results? OMG they are AMAZING! Not only did the appearance exceed my expectations (it's very pretty), sensitivity and function are… excellent. I am 6 weeks out of surgery, and already have had the "Big O", and it was spectacular! Best of all now I feel like the woman I should be. Everything just feels right, and I owe everything to Dr. McGinn. I can't recommend her highly enough. She is a rock star!!

Love Dr. Mcginn. The person who gave her one star has no idea about what the recovery is like. And you had everything so clearly explained beforehand. You should remove the review. My experience almost exactly two years ago was excellent. And two years on, as all the swelling has abated, I can say I am extremely pleased with the results. Stay in Gaia House if you can. Highly recommended. Papillon People - I LOVE YOU!!!!

I love Dr. Mcginn and everyone at Papillon center. I don't have enough good things to say. To the poster above who couldn't get her deposit back, Everything is so carefully explained beforehand. You know this. If you really were a patient with a deposit than you had all the materials that explained everything. The time after surgery is for YOUR protection. I'm assuming you didn't have surgery so I'll tell you that you have no idea what the recovery is like. I think you need to grow up a bit. I am very grateful to Dr. McGinn and everyone involved.

I felt I was robbed for my $3500 surgery deposit. I gave them plenty of time to take me off the schedule because I couldn’t afford to stay in PA for 2 weeks after the surgery & when I told Debbie her attitude totally change on me & became very mean , & she said kiss your $3500 goodbye. I was so stressed trying to get $20,000 for the surgery & traveling & I felt they didn’t even care. I am totally disappointed in my hero , Dr McGinn was my hero & she was the one I wanted my surgery from her & now because I couldn’t afford a hotel for 2 weeks they are taking my $3500 to make things so much more difficult for me. This is not fair but I am just another tranny who people take advantage of . I will never have my sex change now because this experience has made me feel no one cares about people like me . I am so sad I feel like ending my life

I have never been happier with my surgery 10 years ago I had my surgery I had no bruising after surgery had swelling but that expected after major surgery I have full function and sensation it’s like being reborn when you first wake up wish I could of done it and come when I was 5 years old she the best in May god always bless her she will save many lives over the years

Dr. McGinn and her staff are all incredible people. My experience has been nothing sort of outstanding. I have been treated with respect, communicated with from the time of my first evaluation to after my surgery. Dr. McGinn is so talented, caring, and honest. I would absolutely recommend anyone to her and her team.
