Dr. Christine Mary Metz, MD

Dr. Metz is incredibly thorough, kind and compassionate.

I can't help but to think that many of these very negative reviews were written by the same person. The same language is used, and it seems to me this person has a real vendetta against Dr. Metz. I have been a patient of her's for two years and I find her caring and on the cutting edge of all recent medical findings. She told me about the new shingles vaccine months before it went public. Please do not listen to these very unfair negatives about Dr. Metz. I've seen nothing like this in my experience. One thing I will say....I do not care for her two gals upfront who answer the phones and greet you when you arrive. Maybe they are overworked and therefore miserable. Don't know.

I have been a patient of dr. Metz for about a year-and-a-half in that year and a half I have complained to her over and over about my pain, my stomach issues, my swollen legs, that busted open and seeping wounds and I've turned black she thinks it's normal or something. she told me I have to live with it ,my swollen hands the numbness that tingling the back pain that ankle pain that knee pain and as of now she's done nothing for me.. I have no results. the other day at an appointment she tells me she's not giving me back my medication. so I'm in withdrawal. I've been on Lyrica for 7 years and I don't see how she can do that she's conceited,she's selfish,she's rude, she's cocky and I'm a very passive aggressive person that don't get my needs met until I've had all I can take and my last appointment ended in me screaming and yelling at her telling her she's the Worst Doctor Ever I will find a new doctor I said you've never helped me since I've been here I have not been helped by you at… all you try to pawn me off on other doctors and Specialists you don't even want to take a look at some of the things I've asked you to do there's another doctor that was in her office temporarily he found more out with me in two visits been she had an almost 2 years then when he left probably because he couldn't handle her rudeness she tells me he's wrong he's wrong

Please do not see this doctor. I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Metz for a routine physical. She bolted into the exam room with a combative, rude, and abusive attitude. I needed to ask her 3 times if I could explain my previous experiences with past doctors. She kept saying, "I know what they did and it was wrong." She cared nothing for my heath. All she kept saying was that I needed to set up multiple appointments in the future for heath issues we did not even discuss. She kept telling me about her billing procedures. When I told her that it would be financially stressful to set up multiple appointments, she said, "That is your insurance." At another point in the conversation, she said very rudely, "You are not understanding!" I stated firmly but calmly for her to stop being so rude. At that point, she advised me that she was kicking me out of her office. She canceled my appointment. I advised her very calmly on the way out that she was the rudest doctor I had… ever met. She told me twice to "Shut Up and get out of her office." She would not let me speak with the receptionist as I walked out the door. She kept stating, "Get out, get out, get out." Please do not go and see this doctor. All she cares about is dollars signs when she sees a patient. I turned her into my insurance company and the hospital in which she is affiliated. There are much better doctors out there then this one. She only cares about how fat her wallet is.

Absolutely on the ball. Interested in your wellbeing. Would highly recommend her

Absolutely one of the meanest, nastiest people I have ever met, should not be in the healing professions. Never listed to a word I said, was curt, dismissive, and demeaning.

I had an initial visit with Dr. Metz after a car accident. I had no problem making the appointment but watched as the staff including Dr. Metz were agitated at the fact that the staff that made my appointment did not make note that I was there for a car accident follow up, something about the insurance. I saw Dr. Metz and was diagnosed with a concussion. Stay off the computer, no reading little TV if symptoms persist call in 2 weeks we will follow up with a CT scan. After 2 weeks I called still with symptoms and was told by the receptionist that she would let Dr. Metz know and that they would schedule me for a CT scan. I had the CT scan on Wednesday. I received a call on the following Monday from a person that works in the office to say my CT scan was good but if I still had symptoms they would refer me to a neurologist . I said that I still had symptoms and Yes I wanted to be referred to a doctor. Now, I admit that I have a tone to my voice that is strong ( just my tone) but… what I heard at the other end of the phone was a disgrace. The person who called me said under her breath "Jesus Christ", I said excuse me but what does Jesus have to do with it! With that she said we will get the referral to you and hung up on me. That was Monday it is now Thursday and no one has called me with a referral. To make matters worse on Wednesday I called to speak to the office manager and was put into Michelle's mail box and it is 2:30pm on Thursday and she has not called me back either. I am not sure whether anyone in that office understands I am customer and as such should be treated with some value. The entire staff should be ashamed at their customer service skills and I would suggest that the Managers of the business spend some money on training!

Dr. Metz was friendly and very energetic. She seemed interested in what I had to say and didn't harp on what I needed to do to get heavier. She addressed it, and understood my personal reasons. All in all she was great!
