Dr. Christine Muscott is originally from Eastpointe, Michigan. She graduated Salutatorian of East Detroit High School and was awarded a Merit Scholarship to Wayne State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. It was her own family dentist who inspired her to become a dentist. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with her DDS degree.
Dr. Douglas Muscott is a native of Ionia, Michigan. He was a student in the Lyman Briggs School at Michigan State University. He excelled and was awarded early admittance into the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. His childhood dream was to be a Dentist.
Dr. Christine and Doug met in Ann Arbor as dental classmates. They married shortly after graduating and worked for Dr. Christine's family dentist. Their dreams of opening their own family practice came to fruition in the fall of 1986 with the start of Muscott and Muscott Family …Dentistry in Ionia. After 15 years, the practice grew and they needed a bigger facility. A new building was built right next door. The practice was named Muscott & Muscott Dental Health Center PLC. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Doug and Christine saw the need for another dentist to help treat the growing patient family. In the summer of 2006, the doctors were thrilled to have Dr. Natasha Cusack join the dental team.

Dr's. Doug and Christine have two wonderful children Ryan and Lauren who are in college. In their free time, the doctors love traveling, camping, and being members in their Fancy Feast Supper Club in Ionia. The doctors are members of the ADA, MDA, West Michigan Dental Association, and Detroit District Dental Society. Dr. Christine also volunteers at the Heartlands Dental Clinic at Ionia High School.
The doctors embrace newer technologies such as the laser, Cerec CAD/CAM porcelain crown system, and take numerous continuing education courses to stay abreast of other current dental treatments.
