Dr. Christine Natalie Savage, MD

It has been an honor having Dr. Christine N. Savage as my Rheumatologist. She is an exceptional physician. I have been her patient for 18-19 years. Not only has she been my treating physician for my Lupus but she has been taking care of me as a whole person. Lupus has so many components and effects every body system in many different ways. Lupus affects everyone differently. It takes a very experienced Rheumatologist to pick up all of those aspects of the disease and how they relate to each other. She looks at everything and I mean everything. She has a wonderful bed side manner. She is very professional, caring, and tender but when it’s time to be firm and help you fight for your life she is right there on your side seeing you through. I would go as far as I would need to be seen by her. Thank you Dr. Savage it’s been an honor.

She can be firm during those times but that’s what you need … someone who would fight for you. I had been sick for many years and it was frustrating but unfortunately that is the story of lupus. Sometimes you are up and sometimes you are down. Sometimes you are down not doing well for… a very very long time. Dr. Savage never gave up on me. I was so ill that I had to go on chemo even when I didn’t want to, out of fear. Dr. Savage’s only focus was to do no harm and to help save my life and she did. And so I went on chemo. Lupus is a monster of a disease. If it weren’t for her I wouldn’t be here. She is a serious doctor but that’s what you would want someone with a great deal of education and experience who is focused on getting you to wellness. Sometimes it’s hard for us to accept what is happening because we don’t understand it and Dr. Savage is right there with you. I can’t thank her enough. I know I didn’t make it easy for her at times when she was trying to help me but she didn’t give up on me during those trying times. She knew it was out of fear. So much has happened over the many years. I’m a completely different person today because of her. There is no cure for lupus but because of her my quality of life has improved. I’m alive today because of her. I know this and I’ll never forget it. She is an exceptional doctor and human. Thank you Dr. Savage it’s been an honor.

Dr. Savage has the patience of a saint. She is extremely thorough. She took her time. Her staff is amazing. Sophia is a godsend. Absolutely love Dr. Savage. She listened to me when my prior rheumatologist told me I would have to live in pain. I am so glad I found her. I highly recommend this physician, she truly cares about her patients.

My wife "Lizette Marquez" been waiting for a call back for over 2 months for her FMLA paperwork.. Gets the runaround every time we call. Left several messages for the office manager to call back... still waiting. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

I totally agree with all the five star reviews given to Dr. Savage. I have only seen her once but that is enough to conclude I am in very good hands.

Bad billing bad ethics bad experience no help

This woman has zero compassion and complains angrily about UM while trying to get you to follow her to another practice. Never called me with my test results ,made highly inappropriate comments to me. I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy

You have to wait 4 months to get an appointment. Doesn't matter whats wrong with you. they just don''t care.

Dr. Savage was the fourth rheumatologist I saw regarding my rheumatoid arthritis. It had gotten so bad that I was unable to sleep on my sides due to extreme pain in my shoulders that kept me up at night. I would often wake up from sleep with tears in my eyes wishing it would stop. Other areas and joints were effected as well and I seemed to be having a flare up every 10-12 days! The Doctors I saw before her were all the same. Looking to switch me from Plaquenill to stronger medications, keeping me on prednisone and adding higher doses. Trying to force methotrexate on me even though I’m currently in child bearing age. I finally reached out to my Primary Care Physician to see if he could recommend a rheumatologist. He suggested I see Dr. Savage and my life has been better ever since. During my initial meeting with Dr. Savage, I could tell she really cares about her patients. She went over my medical history in full detail. She wanted to know everything not just the symptoms I was… dealing with at that moment. During our visit she suggested we hold off on switching my meds and suggested we try tumeric first. Long story short I did and I haven’t had a flare since!! It’s amazing that the 3 other rheumatologist I saw prior never suggested this. I can sleep on my sides again, I don’t wake up from my sleep anymore in pain, I can work out at the gym again. It’s all thanks to Dr. Christine Savage! I’m so glad she’s my doctor.

I have told Dr. Savage, that she became a Doctor just to treat me. She is extremely knowledgable, patient and understanding. Absolutely the best Doctor I have seen in my lifetime. Dr. Savage does much more then treating my Psoriatic Arthritis, she treats me as a person and takes her time at every visit. DR. Savage definitely takes care of my medical condition, but also helps me deal with it. I could not go thru this without her guidance.
