Wouldn’t go to anyone else. Everything she has ever suggested I do has worked out wonderful with no problems and I am extremely satisfied

I went to Dr. Sciara with big hope to cure my mild acne. She prescribed me antibiotics, Retin A and other topical treatments. My skin reacted very badly I was breaking out like never before! My skin turned into nightmare! It was peeling and zits were all over my face. Dr. Christine insured me that it's normal and in 3 months I will have perfect skin. She was charging me every month 150$ for chemical peel, which I can do on my own for 5$ with esthetician license. After 3 months of suffering from my terrible acne and post acne scars she prescribed me another antibiotic, which also didn't help me. When I went to trip to Ukraine I called esthetician who suggested me to visit Gastroenterologist and Gynecologist and get tested on parasites, hormonal disbalanse etc. I found out that my issue was intestine related, I went through therapy and in 1 month I have great skin. Why Christina Sciara didn't refer me to any doctor, when she saw no results? Why this person has rights to harm my health… with antibiotics, which I used for 4 months without knowing real cause of my acne? Why she didn't change treatment when saw that I break out even more? Ukrainian esthetician knows more about skin than Christine Sciara,and Christina is U Penn graduate. When I asked for Christina Sciara on a phone, she refused talking to me and send her nurse dealing with angry customer. She refused to refund my money back. I'm extremely upset I wasted 4 months of my life on dealing with dermatologist , who doesn't know how to cure acne. I highly recommend stay away from her practice. She doesn't take insurances ( only cash), she doesn't want to respond to customer, she doesn't treat disease, but make it worse. All she said , that everybody's skin is different and reacts differently, it takes time. In my case, with stomach and digesting issues I'd never see a cure from antibiotics, but waste more money and time on this unprofessional doctor. In my opinion she just doesn't care about her patients and their health.

This doctor is very unprofessional. The office is dirty. They use the same headbands on every client without washing them, use the same facial scrubbing brushes on Every one and they do not use any germicidal cleaning products between clients on equipment or chairs.

I've gone to Dr. Sciara for many years. She is extremely helpful with any problems I may have. I also like learning about the new products on the market and getting an expert opinion on what ones are the best.

Dr. Sciara is not someone I would recommend. She damaged my skin with treatments she pushed that I did not ask for. Beware. Try having a procedure, you will never hear from any staff to see how you made out, no matter the cost. She is a 'nice' person, but that's not what you're paying for...

Dr. Sciara is a terrific physician! She is truly an expert in maintaining youthful, healthy skin. Her staff is very kind, polite and really work hard to make sure the customer is satisfied.I would highly recommend this practice.

The Dr is very knowledgable about keeping skin looking young and vibrant! She looks excellent and I can only hope to have beautiful skin just like her!
