Dr. Christine Mimi Shim, MD

Wonderful doctor. I also see her father Dr Jae Shim, MD for acupuncture and they are a great team and have helped my pain better than medicine and surgery.

Dr Shim is a caring wonderful doctor. The combination of acupuncture/eastern medicine and being MD enable her to treat and advise on the whole person, not just the primary complaint. I first went to her with a weak lower back that I'd injure every 3 months. I practically lived at the physical therapist. 3 months later I was off muscle relaxers, strong enough to carry my 6 year old daughter and never went back to physical therapy or injured my back again. Since then acupuncture from Dr. Shim has been my first choice before invasive tests and unnecessary drugs. She always tells me when tests or specialists are necessary. Dr. Shim has improved my health and quality of life/
