Dr. Christine Marie Shock, MD

This poor girl wasted her parents money on an education in medicine. I originally went to her because I felt sorry for her but she just caused me too many problems and wasn't interested in doing things right. She had her own little canned answers to any question and often appeared to exit to review what they were when asked a question. She wasn't ever interested in details and only wanted to hurry through each of the few appointments she had. I realize Indiana is getting all the bad doctors right now because the better ones are wanting to go to states offering options in new medicine, but this girl is scrapping the bottom of the barrel. I would bet if she took an aptitude test being a doctor, or working with people at all would be at the bottom of the list.

Dr. Shock is rude and very cocky! I have seen her 2 times and that is plenty enough to see that her bad side manner is terrible. I will be switching doctors.

I went to Dr. Shock for about 2 years only due to insurance requirements. She seemed OK at first, but did not agree with my previous doctor's prescribed medications or decisions. The wait time was never very long, but the time spent with me as the patient was very, very short. My questions and concerns were never fully addressed; I feel like the office procedure was to get everyone in and out as quickly as possible. She vetoed every suggestion I made and I felt foolish for asking questions due to her manner. I have a specific disease and have done much research, but she seemed to only have one way to treat it, but test results showed it was not working. Thankfully, I have different insurance and can see a new doctor now.
