Great doctor who asked a lot of questions and took good care of me during my visit with her.

In the wee small hours of Sunday 11.13.16, I was brought to Medstar Washington Hospital Center by ambulance having been the 60+ year old victim of robbery who was shot by a large caliber weapon thru my right side. Still conscious, I recall gasping for breath & requesting the attending staff to “cut me, cut me” while I was being triaged & giving my medical history. The next thing I recall was the miracle of waking up Tuesday afternoon in a semi-private room with 3-4 tubes protruding from my torso. Yes, Dr. Christine T Trankiem MD and her team had succeeded in bringing me back from death’s door. Though the next 12-13 weeks or so of treatment and rehabilitation weren’t easy, I am here now, some three later, to attest to Dr Christine T Trankiem, MD’s knowledge, acumen and skills as a trauma surgeon. My deepest thanks!!!!
