Dr. Christine Orlova Urman, MD

I needed to see a dermatologist before my surgery and they gave me a same day cancelation. Dr Urman was very professional and concerned about my skin rash. I fully am happy with her treatment and expertise. I would recommend her services. I don't care about the other reviews. I am very happy.

Had acne scarring. Spent $1500 on 3 micro needle appointments. Follow up appointment for her to confirm that it didn?t work costed another $100. So she recommended micro needling, it didn?t work, and I am down $1600.

I have gone to south shore for a few years now and wanted to switch up my doctor hoping that I would get a more relatable and helpful opinion, nope. I went to dr. Urman because she had a cancellation (go figure) and before I barely introduced myself she quite literally accused me of not using a shampoo based on a conversation with my doctor. It was a VERY odd and rude way to begin an appointment with someone you have never met. She then brushed off every concern I had and sat there with her arms crossed. I’m not in the medical field but am well educated to know this is not how you should approach patients (who pay $60+ copays) with concerns. Never again south shore ??

I waited several months to see a dermatologist and was looking forward to finally getting some help in reducing my acne. She had a terrible bedside manner, looked at my skin for all of 30 seconds and told me that because I was trying to get pregnant there was not many options for me. She told me she would write me a prescription and stated "it probably won't work". She spent a total of 5 minutes with me in the exam room. I will not go back.

Awful experience with this doctor. Worst bedside manner. I would not recommend her
