Dr. Christine Louise Warmann, MD

I have been under Dr. Warmann's care for several years. Her compassionate, understanding , yet clinical treatment of my manic/depressive disorder has saved my marriage and made me a better husband and provider. She truly listens to what you have to say about the progress of treatment and addresses the issues with behavioral therapy or medication with frequent follow-up to be sure it is successful and monitor any side effects. I am indebted to Dr. Warmann for basically saving me from myself.

She's smart - - I went two psychiatrists before her and she spent time with me before making a good sound diagnosis. She listens to me as well medicationally speaking. Great doctor. I've been with her 6 years now.

I saw Dr. Warmann in 1997 and quite liked her and thought she was good. In 2010 when I was looking for a psychiatrist, she was one of the top two recommended by other doctors/therapists I spoke to. She is really exceptional. She doesn't talk down to me and she listens to my concerns and suggestions and takes them into account when recommending/approving a new course of treatment. She's a very likable, easy-to-talk to person. Although she is very busy, I don't have a problem getting follow-up appts. I think I had to wait 2-3 weeks to get an initial one, but the initial appt. was about 2 hours. She does a very thorough assessment, unlike many in her profession. It cost about $300 (if I recall correctly); I have no insurance, but she does take Visa/MC. The cost *seems* like a lot but is worth it for the level of thoroughness. Follow-ups (30mins.) cost $125. I've had much better treatment and diagnoses than I've had in a long time. I'd been relying on my primary care physician to… understand my condition, refill prescriptions, and recommend/prescribe the best, most appropriate course of treatmenta *big* mistake. I discovered it's important to check in with a psychiatrist for any ongoing problemsthey just know a lot more about recent research and new, more effective meds.

Dr. Warmann is extremely knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. She's able to quickly understand how best to help and looks at the 'whole person' while factoring in the overall health of the patient. She's amazing!
