Dr. Christopher S. Abercrombie

This Dr. in my opinion is COLD. He gave me some worrying health news and I was scared and told him so, He basically offered nothing in the way of physical or mental console. Nothing, not even a, we're going to get through this or be strong. Nothing. Cold. Also, I don't even know why he's there. It must be a requirement for his field. I'll be heading away from some of Mercy's services. They have lost touch

I had a medical issue so I contacted his office thru the MyMercy website, which is what their phone message told me to do. I was told to set up an e-visit, which I spent a couple hours doing because I couldn't get my insurance card uploaded and there was a giant form of questions. I waited TWO days for my e-visit and cancelled MY clients for the day so I would have no interruptions. They waited until the morning of the e-visit, deleted my appointment, called me and told me to go to the urgent care because they don't see patients that have symptoms and told me to come back to establish as a NEW patient AFTER the urgent care treats me. I could have gone to the urgent care TWO DAYS AGO. I should have been told TWO DAYS AGO. I would have been cured by now. They should have kept my e-visit, fixed my medical issue and then I could have come in after that. The office manager knew they were in the wrong and hung up on me. I will be filing a complaint with the AMA.

Dr Abercrombie is a great Doctor. He is easy to talk too. Very glad he is my family doctor:)

This might just drum up business. But this guy will give you any perscriptions you ask for! My son is addicted to and still receiving refills from this man along with his slue of friends.. shame on you!

I have been seeing this doctor for about 3 years now and I noticed a significant difference of level of care between this doctor and my previous doctor. I have no major complaints as he is human too but it seems to me he is all business with minimal effort and less about caring for the patient.

Terrible "doctor". Maybe gives you 3 minutes and gives odd looks like he doesnt believe what youre saying. He taps on ur sides listens for a quarter of a second on your lungs (when you have pneumonia, confirmed from another doctor) and types on the computer. Says to come back if not better in a week. I will NOT be back in a week. I am finding another primary care because this guy is a QUACK! It was fast to get appointment... probably because people go here once and run far away so they cant keep patients. RUN FAST!

Don't go here, wouldn't send my enemy to this guy. Worst Dr ever. A Dr that doesn't care about his patients at all just about getting money from you

Horrible doctor and staff!! Stay away!! My husband went there and complained about sharp stomach pains, they ordered tests, even tests that he didn't need and now we are stuck with an ultrasound bill that didn't show anything cause they couldn't look in the area needed! Then , he's taken off work several times for tests and trying to figure this stuff out and has an upcoming appointment and he calls in for a refill of the meds Dr. Abercrombie prescribed him and now they want him to take off work AGAIN to sign some controlled substance form and take a drug test! He's been there for a physical and blood work just 2 weeks ago and none of this could have been done then? Also, check your bill when they bill you because they tried to bill us for our FREE physical that my insurance offers once a year, then when you call to correct it, they want to argue. SO NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE! Getting new doctor today for my husband....maybe one that has an idea of what they are doing....

I have been going to see Dr. Abercrombie and his staff for a very long time. I have always had good experiences with all of them and highly recommend them. They are all very friendly, nice, helpful, approachable, just overall good people with great bedside manners.
