Dr. Adelman has always been a great listener and informative about anything I had questions about. He was my addition specialist doctor at Laurelwood and St.Vincent after the move. He was part of my journey to sobriety. I was sad to see him retire.

Dr. Adelman diagnosed me as an addict/alcoholic based on a recommendation by a staff member. He did NOT interview me or otherwise make an independent evaluation.

I'm surprised to see the negative reviews! Dr. Adelman saved my life 11yrs ago, he gave me hope & showed me that it IS possible to have a life again! I have nothing but deep respect & love for this wonderful & caring man. But, we are all responsible for our own recovery. After awhile, it's easy to forget where we came from- that is why WE need to continue to work on ourselves & never forget that we are powerless over our addiction. Dope is pure evil. Suboxone helped me turn my life around. I will always grateful for Dr. Adelman's help.

He is only worried about his reputation. He really does not care about his patients. he thinks he's a god. He has ruined more peoples lives by turning them down for treatment. I know first hand. Dr. alderman has his say so in every D-tox center in the city of Cleveland. We have tried everyone. We were told Alderman will not except her. Er. Doctors tried to get her help but to no prevail. What do we need to do to get her help. Send her out state.?
