Dr. Christopher Bruce Alexander, MD

I am a 68-year-old woman who suffered a fracture of both bones in my right forearm, just above the wrist, as the result of an accidental fall. Dr. Alexander was recommended by Emergency Room medical personnel who initially treated me, on the evening of my accident -- which occurred on a Saturday night. When my son called Dr. Alexander's office on the following Monday morning, they immediately scheduled an appt. for me for that afternoon and, after examining my injured arm and assessing my X-Rays, Dr. Alexander scheduled surgery at a local hospital for the following day. His office staff efficiently scheduled all of the necessary pre-surgery medical tests - which were completed on the same afternoon as my appointment; and they provided all necessary pre- and post-surgery instructions and prescriptions for antibiotics and pain relief. The surgery -- which involved the placement of a thin metal plate, secured by tiny metal screws affixed to my wrist bones --was very successful. I had… to wear a hard cast for @ 5 weeks, and then was fitted with a soft removable brace. After several weeks of physical therapy, I have little to no residual pain and my hand is almost completely restored its original level of strength and dexterity. I am very grateful to Dr. Alexander for fixing my broken bones so promptly and for being so competent and kind.

I am 63 years old and have never given anyone a bad review until now DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY unless you want to suffer while in the hospital after knee surgery or post op. He is very rude/uncaring and would rather see you suffer on Tramadol post-op and during PT than do the right thing for his patient If you want an excellent doc-go to Dr Freeman at Sharp. I chose not to this time because of the travel time and I had relocated and it was not good for family. When you go to see him he is very much non-communicative and hardly says a word-but I figured a lot of surgeons do not have bedside manner. This guy is brutal and does not care once surgery is over how much you suffer. Please listen to me or you will regret it!!!

Dr. Alexander is very professional. Informs you of your specific problem, gives you choices for a solution. I have been in the medial field for over 40 yeas and I totally comment this surgeon.

Dr. Alexander is the man! Did a plate and screws on my collarbone and had me back racing in 2 weeks! Very knowledgeable and is out to get you healed 100% in the quickest time. I had a few friends refer me to him and I'm glad they did, some of the best work I've had on me!

After writhing in pain for about 12 hours, I called and was directed to an answering machine for a "Sylvia". Never got a phone call back after about 6 hours. Called again and left a message stating that I was unable to walk, and in unbearable pain. Never heard back. Finally today my wife walked into the office, and wouldn't leave without an answer. She was sent away with nothing more than them referring me to another doctor. Dr. Alexander has incompetent staff that couldn't care less about their patients. It's a shame.

I have had to wait over 1 1/2 hr on 2 of the 3 appts I have made. I have had 2 prior surgeries done on my right knee. Dr. Alexander did the 3rd and least invasive. I never bled after the first 2, but the one Dr. Alexander did was a mess. He left 2 gaping holes that we just spurting out blood. We had to tape them because he had missed the holes when he taped the wounds.
