Dr. Christopher T Bailey

Dr. Bailey removed a sebaceous cyst for me via local anesthesia. He's very matter of fact and answers any questions I may have. He maintains a good doctor/patient relationship - he's a doctor and I don't expect him to come in and want to be my best buddy. He maintains good professionalism and seems to take his job seriously. Therefore, I don't have a problem with his bedside manner. I would feel comfortable with him doing other procedures for me.

He did do me a big favor and get me admitted right away for emergency surgery knowing I did not have insurance. As far as diagnosing goes, I had already been diagnosed with an infected gallbladder and gallstones that were in the neck of gallbladder. I seen him just a couple minutes really early in the morning the day of surgery and I did not see him again until 2 weeks after surgery. I was given a paper telling me to call and set up my follow up. The worst of it is that I ended up having to be on antibiotics for several weeks and was very sick for weeks. I found out after ER visits that I had an abcess behind my abdominal muscle wall most likely from some of the infection from my gallbladder spilling into my abdomen.

DR. BAILEY DID AN EGD ON ME. THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. THE FIRST VISIT AND THE HOSPITAL VISIT HE COULD WORK ON HIS "BEDSIDE" MANNER. THE SECOND OFFICE VISIT WHICH WAS A FOLLOW-UP THE EXPERIENCE WAS MUCH BETTER. THE DOCTOR SPENT A GOOD BIT OF TIME WITH ME, WAS VERY INFORMATIVE.

Most unprofessional, unethical physician I have ever encountered. Adressed me as "dude", overheard him talking openly and joking about my illness in the hall with a medical student including use of foul language. Incompetent. Un interested in listening to what I had to say. Ultimately I walked out, due to concerns of whether he was a capable of providing safe care. Intent to file a complaint with state board.
