Dr. Christopher Joseph Bauer, MD

Very disappointing experience with this doctor. From the start the office staff (medical secretaries/ assistants) were very sweet and helpful. The issues arose after it was time for me to undress and wait for the doctor. I waited a while, not extremely long. About 10 minutes of my 15 minute wait in the room consisted of hearing Dr. Bauer complain and be irritated with the medical assistants about taking vitals after a patient has been discharged. After he was done complaining loudly outside my door he came in without knocking. Dr. Bauer spoke to me and preformed an exam in under 10 minutes, I’d say I heard him complaining outside my door longer than he spoke to me. I did not feel listened to, I did not feel acknowledged, he did not ask me almost any follow up questions after I told him very generally what was going on with me. I went through a lot of effort to bring past medical history and recent blood work with me to show him. He rushed my visit so fast and at the end I asked him if… he’d like to take a look at my history and he told me to just go give it to the front desk to scan in. He did not care about my visit at all. I am well aware I was booked as a new patient which involves a bigger time slot, what did he do for the rest of my visit honestly? I work in a healthcare facility, I’m not difficult I just want decent care. I came to Dr.Bauer because my mother recently started going to him and I read reviews about how great he is. I have left women’s healthcare facilities in tears feeling alone from providers that were not caring or did not listen at all, I was really hoping this would be a different experience from me but I can say I will be looking for a new OBGYN once again…

I never met a worst doctor in the past. I am pregnant now but he made me feel guilty because of my age. I felt he just does not want to accept/deal with any pregnant women over 40 years old. He said your age is high risk pregnancy and he is not sure if he will accept me or not and he might send me the other hospital later. He is absolutely not a caring doctor.

This guy is a poor excuse for a doctor. This guy is the most awkward man you will ever talk to with zero explanation behind any of his “diagnosing”. His office staff is just as disgraceful as him. Save yourself the time and find another doctor. He’s useless. He does no blood work in the office. He does no ultra sounds in the office. Sends you out for everything so trust me find a real doctor that can actually afford a proper office with a real staff and the training needed to run a successful practice.

Dr Bauer is a great doctor. He’s very knowledgeable and had excellent bedside manner. Unfortunately his office staff is extremely rude and says things that are very off color. It’s sad because he’s a great doctor but his staff doesn’t do him justice. If he had a nicer staff I would have stayed but I have decided to go elsewhere.

When I arrived at the hospital after my water broke, I found out that every doctor from my practice was off that day and SURPRISE...you get to have your baby delivered by this guy you’ve never met before. I was incredibly nervous because I was unfamiliar with the name of the person due to arrive at the delivery room. I was pleasantly surprised and put at ease immediately! Kind, nice bedside manner and really rooted for me during the actual delivery. I truly felt that he cared! Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great OBGYN!

I used Dr. Bauer for my last pregnancy. He was patient, kind, knowledgeable and an exceptional doctor. I had an awesome pregnancy and delivery with him guiding me. I could not more highly recommend him!

Dr.Bauer has been great throughout my pregnancy. He is very experienced and always explains my options thoroughly. His medical knowledge has always exceeded my expections. Great doctor!

Dr.Bauer is very caring and attentive. he has been my doctor since my first pregnancy. He takes the time to explain to me all my issues and answers all my questions. I would recommend Dr. Bauer top everyone. He is excellent

Maybe it's a lack of sleep, but this guy makes things awkward for my wife; she's constantly repeating herself and he's always commenting on her "tight" cervix. Female Gynecologists from the same location, such as Bandlamudi and Centanni are so much better to deal with. He gets the job done after a while yes, but his remarks seem a tad bit sarcastic and unenthusiastic, and quite honestly, unprofessional. I am not writing this to be mean or to give him a poor rating; I'm writing this because it is true and he has made my wife and I uncomfortable in comparison to other gynecologists.
