I had a new patient appt a while back and he was in a hurry because he had to go to a meeting. He literally cut me off and left the room. Left frustrated but wanted to give him a second chance. At the next appointment, he disregarded my concerns and asked if I was a drug seeker. Told me I had to keep track of my pain and then he will see me again. I have a chronic medical condition that causes severe daily pain. I was not there to seek drugs but the way he disrespected me and made me feel was not okay. Will not go back!

My husband never received adequate treatment from this guy. He left and never looked back. I'd be interested in seeing his medical school grades; my suspicion is he barely passed. It's sad to see a small community like St. Johns so blindly accept such poor standards. This guy doesn't care about his patients. Beware!

Dr. Beal is a great doctor. He listens to his patients and takes action on their best behalf. He focus the care for the patient how to get better, no always prescribing medication, but to find other methods of treatment.

I was referred to Dr Beal by MSU PT dept. It took over six weeks to make an appointment. He was WONDERFUL! Ordered several tests including a mammogram. I tried to make a mammo appt. Sparrow refused because I didn't have an ultrasound order as well. I called the office TWICE to ask to an ultrasound. The office REFUSED sayinng "I was just a one time patient and therefore they wouldn't order the test". I have a followup appointment on the order and they REFUSED to schedule it.

He MAY have graduated from med school with a C. NOT someone you want to trust your health with. Pill pushing dope.

he's a great dr. that really cares for his patients. even his p.a is great. I think he had a say on his staff as they are as wonderful n sweet and really care.
