Dr. Biggs co-founded Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2008 with Drs. Devinder Singh, Daniel Reed and Terry Lee. He attended the University of Arizona, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular biology. His interest in cancer research took him to the University of Southern California, under the Borchard Cancer Research Fellowship. There, he performed research on the molecular genetics of cancer at the Norris Cancer Center and at LA Children’s Hospital.

He was horrible to deal with. He is not caring and only worried about his time and moving on to the next patient. He kept looking at his watch during my visit. Find another doctor to treat your cancer.

I totally misread this guy and sadly when fighting cancer, you don’t have time to make mistakes. He proved to be unresponsive and indifferent. Initially I liked Dr. Biggs. His pre-treatment discussion was excellent. His team is good and they were very nice to me during my radiation treatments. The big problem started at the end of treatment when passed over to his assistant, Robin, for follow-up. She said things which was opposite of what Dr. Biggs had previously communicated to me. As well, she gave me the brush off on side effects related to the treatment. Dr. Biggs had made a tape of our original pre-treatment discussion so it was very easy to go back and review as well as his plans to treat side effects. I sent my concerns to Dr. Biggs via mail within 24 hours. I was willing to come back in and discuss the issues with him. I heard nothing. Six months later, I fired him just prior to my next appointment. They didn’t seem to care… they didn’t question the reason.

Dr. Biggs made me feel very at ease for my first appointment.

Dr Biggs takes his time and is very thorogh (which is probably why he is always running behind!). That being said, I really liked his bedside manner and the time he does take with his patients. The staff are all very nice and helpful.

Efficiency is the mode o'day at Dr. Biggs' place. During treatment, the technicians treated me like a rock star. The complex is ultra modern and high-tech but not intimidating at all. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I truly believe they saved my life and would not hesitate to recommend them. Also, note that Dr. Biggs is not only and M.D. he also has a Ph.D. - not your run-of-the-mill doctor by a long shot. Thanks, Dr. Biggs!

Dr Biggs treated me for a cnancer on the back of my tongue. I am 5 yrs clean now. In my opinion he is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered- in terms of both skill and empathy. There simply are no better-in my experience.
