Dr. Christopher Glen Blewett, MD

Doctor Blewett came to visit me today in my hospital Room as my other pulmonologist was not on call. He walked in my room, introduced himself and asked me if I was feeling better. I told him no, that I was still short of breath and dizzy (the reason I came in the first place) He listened to my lungs and told me I sounded clear. I had a few other questions about my EKG and my dizziness but he told me, I'm just the lung guy. He then turned and headed for the exit to leave and told me that "He was glad I was feeling better." I guess it's quite obvious to anyone reading this that I told him I wasn't feeling better and as he was leaving he told me he was glad I was feeling better. WHAT???? This man doesn't listen. Spent less than 5 min with no advice. Don't use Blewett!!

Terminal lung disease patient saw doctor Blewett when Dr Davidoff unavailable. Diagnosed with upper respiratory infection, bronchitis and laryngitis. Called every day to speak with staff members and office manager for prescriptions to be called in to no avail. Dr. Blewett called one week later to advise he was”going through his inbox and noticed medication had never been called in...”. Office manager and staff took no action to resolve problem or return multiple phone calls seeking help.

I have been a patient for over a year and he is very good at explaining clearly overall challenges and working with referring doctors to coordinate optimal care.

Compassionate, analytical, straightforward and practical.

Dr Blewett was at my fathers side seconds after his heart stopped. We were so lucky that we brought him to Prespyterian Plano Hospital. There is no doubt that my father is alive today bcause of the excellent care of Dr Blewett and the entire Presyterian staff.
