Dr. Christopher T. Boniquit, MD

I had been a patient of this man for many years and was happy until this last visit. I have a very strong family history of prostate cancer so have gone in 1-2 times yearly for cancer screenings for the last 27 years. These screenings consist of an exam , PSA and recently an ultrasound of the prostate. This time the ultrasound only took about 20 seconds when it usually takes several minutes. When I asked her if she was able to get all the measurements, she did not answer, just left the room. When he came into the room he did not examine me- just said I need a PSA and started to leave the room. When I asked him about the exam, he said it was not necessary. When I asked if there were any changes in the ultrasound, he said that she did not ultrasound the prostate but only did the bladder and this was adequate to check for prostate cancer. Two days later I received a call from his receptionist saying my PSA had tripled and she wanted to schedule me for a surgical biopsy. I decided to go… for a second opinion to Northwestern and called for records to be forwarded. I was told that they would mail me forms . I waited 8 days for the forms and then went in in person and filled them out. The day before my Northwestern visit I called them to be sure they had the records but they said not. I then went returned to Boniquit's office and they told me they still had (after a 2 week notice)not forwarded the records and only part of the records were available to be forwarded and that I would have to call another number to get the rest. At Northwest they advised an MRI and genetic workup before any surgery biopsy. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN WITH YOUR HEALTH.

I have been very pleased with the care I have received from Dr Boniquit. He is thoughtful and listens. Staff is great.

The people in the hospital just don't work. I didn't say what I was going to do next, I went to the hospital, I couldn't see a doctor, . I have to wait a month for my next reservation. Give your staff a good education and kindness. It's unpleasant. Your staff is unkind, too. I wasted my time today. But if the employee was kind to me, there wouldn't be a review like this. Re-educate them. It doesn't help the staff hospital to make a reservation or not.

I am very disappointed at the care my father received this past week from Dr. Boniquit and especially his staff. My father had a uti infection causing some blood and discomfort because he has to catheterize himself due to a collapsed bladder. He started to have pain and some bleeding during his procedure at home. He saw the Dr. Boniquit on Dec. 3 and he took a urine culture to see if there was an infection. He did get some preliminary reports that there was indeed an infection present, but he had to wait a bit to prescribe the right medication. Needless to say, my dad went through this for almost a week with us leaving messages and wanting to know what to do with his office staff. FINALLY, we got in touch with Roseann and told her we had been waiting for a call. She acted like she didn't even know what was happening with the infection. She said she didn't get the right message which is someone's fault in the office. I told her I was very upset with the way they handled this situation… and we saw my dad getting worse and worse by the day. They finally told us what medication to put him on. Well I believe because of the inadequacy of the DR. and his staff, my father ended up being taken by ambulance to the hospital with an additional infection which led to pneumonia. He was VERY sick. He had to stay in the hospital for 6 days and we never even heard from Dr. Boniquit. We made sure we went to Bolingbrook Hospital which is where he works out of. Today, we took him home and we went to get the medication the hospital prescribed for him only to find out that ONE WEEK ago Dr. Boniquit called in a different prescription for him to start taking for the UTI. What incompetence on everyone's part!!!! Now my poor dad doesn't know what to do. We have tried calling the office again and no answer. I am very disgusted and angered at the way this office handled my dad's case. We will no longer be going to see the dr. and his staff needs a course in competency!!!!!!!!! Hold on to your hat if you go there. You will not get the care you deserve. I'm just glad my dad was taken care of properly at Bolingbrook Hospital. They were excellent.

My husband and I can't thank Dr Boniquit enough. Very caring to my husbands needs during his pain with several kidney stones.Dr Boniquit took his time and eased my husband fustration of kidney stones pain. We can't stop talking about the wonderful help that we had received. We have and will continue to share the great care and will recommend Dr Boniquit every time.
