Doctor Boyd did a wonderful job fixing my abdominal hernia. It was the second time having this done, the first time was a complete failure but Doctor Boyd knew exactly what needed to be done and fixed my problem. I am very grateful for his abilities and his care. Had I left it as it was done by the original surgeon I would have risked possible serious problems in the future. Thank you Doctor Boyd for making me right again.

I had to have my gallbladder removed. I haven't had surgery since I was 3 (now in my late 20's). I was a nervous wreck. In a world of reading reviews I was hesitate but heard from numerous people "verbally" Dr. Boyd was the "IT" guy for the job! Still reviews are there and I read them all. I went in knowing the people who knew him personally and had surgery by him had great experiences so I kept an open mind. He was very nice, took time to look at my ultra sound, explain things and I decided to move forward with him as my surgeon. I couldn't be happier! Again, 17 days after my gallbladder was removed and I am active, eating normally, comfortable and my energy is @ 90%! I am beyond relieved this is behind me but also grateful for Dr. Boyd! His patience, his professionalism and the fact that I am back to being "me"! Big THANK YOU to him!

I recently had surgery with Dr. Boyd. He's an excellent surgeon. I liked his manner. I formed this opinion before I had a family emergency that required me to travel before I saw him again. He was understanding and very kind. I highly recommend this doctor.

I made Hernia surgery with Dr Boyd, one year ago. The scar looks really bad and I'm considering another plastic surgery to fix his mistakes. I completely lost the feeling in this area. I should have check more before, I'm sorry I chose him to be my doctor.

The hernia surgery I had with Dr Boyd ruined my life. Polyproplyene mesh is toxic.

Do your research before you let this guy (or any surgeon) implant you with polypropylene mesh. Mesh complications ARE NOT uncommon. The FDA knows this. The device makers know this, and the surgeons know this. BUYER BEWARE! 2 hernias done.. had to show him thesecond one the day before the procedure.Hurried, self important.. and I have enough pain from his workalmost a year ago that i wish id nevergotten involved with him.
