Extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience. At the beginning of my visit, I clearly stated that I did not want the visit recorded. I explained that I had previously agreed to recording and later discovered that the visit had been classified as medication management rather than a wellness visit, resulting in an unexpected copay. Instead of simply respecting my decision, the physician repeatedly questioned why I would not agree to being recorded and continued pressing me until I had to firmly repeat, “I just don’t want it recorded.” I was also there to discuss approximately two months of recurrent diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and difficulty eating because I am afraid of having diarrhea while working in patients’ homes or at meetings. I explained that some foods trigger it and that I have experienced abdominal pain severe enough to leave me doubled over. The conversation then became heavily focused on constipation, a lifelong issue I had already explained was normal for… me. He was too concerned about my wgt loss of 10lbs which is within BMI for for my height and my weight. And I had just explained to him that I’ve been having diarrhea and have not been able to eat sometimes because the food goes right through me so obviously it would make sense if somebody had a weight loss within the last six months if they were having trouble keeping food down. What was most concerning was the physician’s demeanor. I felt intimidated throughout the interaction and uncomfortable enough that I avoided making eye contact. At the end of the visit, while I was still seated, he stood directly in front of me and lowered his face toward mine to make direct eye contact at very close range. Given the interaction leading up to that moment, I found it extremely uncomfortable. I am a healthcare provider myself, and I believe patients deserve to have their boundaries respected and to feel safe discussing embarrassing or concerning symptoms without feeling intimidated. I will not be returning

Worst experience. My wife has Trigeminal Neuralgia (look it up, "Dr"). She can't touch the left side of her face without terrible pain. She has to hold the left side of the mask away from her face to avoid pain. She was in the office with my daughter, and "Dr" Bursley kept telling her to fix her mask and wear it properly, for her "protection" and his. She explained her condition, and he had no consideration of her condition whatsoever. Told her to wear it properly, or sit in the waiting room. He made her attach the mask to her left ear. She had to endure the pain while she tried to hold the mask out from her left cheek. Absolute worst bedside manner I have ever heard of in a "Doctor". He was combative and argumentative for nearly her entire visit. Also, he had to "GOOGLE" side effects and symptoms right in front of them, as if he had zero knowledge or experience as a doctor. What happened to "do no harm"? Unbelievable. Cleveland mainly posts positive reviews. A search online reveals a… different story. Mostly one-start reviews everywhere else.

I highly recommend Dr. Bursley
