DR. BUSKEN, WAS VERY CORDIAL, AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME IN DETAIL.

My stepfather was transferred to Savannah after the doctors in a small town discovered he had a massive abdominal aneurysm. Dr. Busken was given his case. He immediately took charge and performed an operation that lasted over eight hours and resulted in a new procedure that Dr. Busken performed and saved my stepfathers life. God was in the room that day and gave us Dr. Busken. My stepfather was Lonnie Varnadore and even tho I lost him two years ago, Dr Busken gave him a few more years and I can’t thank him enough.

Dr. Busken was the man with the power, and his Vascular specialty when he recognized the problem my husband was having with severe pain in his left leg, foot and toes. Dr. Busken promptly scheduled an angiogram, and surgically implanted a total of 2 stents on a Friday, and the following Friday, 2 more stents to my husband, and stopped the severe pain that he was experiencing; and that was after going to other ER's who took our word that he was having nerve pain. The most important thing to remember is that we want a doctor who knows his job completely, and Dr. Buskin did with his exemplary knowledge, skills, and ability, along with care and compassion. My husband can now walk with no pain; but there's still more work to be done. Thank you Dr. Buskin! God Bless You!

I had a really bad experience coming to this doctor. I’ve been dealing with a lot of issues with inflammation and pain on my left shoulder and arm for several years now. I was very hopeful when I set this appointment, but I left the appointment very discouraged. After a few minutes of talking and doing a few movements that he had me do in his office, he told me that he thinks that I have thoracic outlet syndrome. He stated that I needed to have surgery. I asked him if I was going to have any imaging done-to back up his theory-before the surgery. He said no. I don’t understand why he wouldn’t send me to get some imaging done to make sure that is the actual problem that I’m having. I don’t know if any doctor that would perform major surgery without the proper imaging beforehand. To make things worse, I paid my $10 copay at the time of the appointment and now I am continuously being harassed by whoever is in charge of their billing. This person has even called my husband to his work to… collect the $10. I have continued to get emails, phone calls and collection letters in the mail for those $10 that I already I paid. I spoke with the billing department and I told the girl there that I can send her a copy of my bank statement showing that I already paid for this visit. She said that she would talk with somebody else there and that she would get back with me. To this day, all I keep getting are the continuous phone calls, emails and collection letters in the mail stating that they are going to send me to collections for bad debt. I’ve tried calling this person a couple of times and she is never in the office. I continue to leave voicemails. That is what prompted me to write this review. A complete waste of my time coming to this doctor and then now a major headache because of their incompetence billing department. I cane in with a leg ulcer and Bleeding in my leg from vascular problems Dr Busken was there for me with his warm heart and sole that most dr do not give you and held my had and told me I was going to be ok. This Dr knows what he is doing and is amazing at what he does. I could not Thank him more then enough. So glad and proud that he is my doctor. Thank you for giving me my life back ??

Dr. Buskin performed an angiogram and did an exceptional job. Very professional, no complications, the clinical staff of nurses assisting with the angiogram was excellent also. He does need to prep his clerical staff on follow up procedures for his patients.
