I saw Dr, Calapai regarding symptoms of a stroke, the main one of which was a lack of equilibrium, as the stroke affected the cerebellum. For this, Dr. Calapai prescribed cell-stem therapy, at a fee of $10,000. Therapy consisted of seeing him for about 15 minutes, in which time he drew bone marrow from me. Then, after waiting for about 45 minutes, in which time I was told that the marrow was being turned in order to get the stem cells from it, I was called in once more and a nurse had me breathe in the stem cells for about ten minutes. That was all. Paying him $10,000 for me was a hardship, as the insurance company would not hear about it. And no wonder, his stem-cell "therapy" did absolutely nothing. Oh yes, I also bought vitamins and supplements on his office that he prescribed at an additional cost of $1,200. They also did absolutely nothing. Now, several years later, at a time that he told me the therapy would have more effect, I feel worse!

Dr. Calapai helped me with a prolotherapy when I injured my hand. he was knowledgeable and professional with the treatment. he explained all of the details of what I would experience and how things would work. I am very pleased with the results.

Misdiagnosed a disease after a blood test. Stay far away from this group.

I have been going to Dr. Calapai for several years. He works best as a consultant to oversee health and offers many integrative modalities. And he takes insurance. I travel out of state to sit with him at least 1x a year and is willing to listen. My only negative is that his office is very busy and time spent with him is less than what I would prefer. But that is a small sacrifice for what he provides.

This doctor is the biggest fraud around. He gave my sister false hope that he could cure her cancer. She left her kids in Virginia and spent 5 weeks in New York having treatments only to go home and pass away a month after. The cost for one month treatment was over $20,000. He is a horrible opportunist person. Done go there unless you don’t mind spending your money for NOTHING!! I only gave one star to be sure I would be counted. He deserves nothing.

After 5 different doctors over a yr and a half, Dr. Calapai was able to diagnose a condition. All other doctors said it was a condition due to stress (idiots) He spent ample time discussing, answered all our questions, never rushed us. His staff was friendly and attentive. Treatment just started, but his plan is logical and backed up by his test results. He also discovered many heavy metals from our town water supply. We are addressing that with our town ?? Worth a visit to Dr. C. Also, try calling on Saturday am radio show- he will answer all questions before you decide to see him. ????

I suffer from rhuematiod arthritis, ckd and pulmonary fibrosis. I had stem cell therapy done about four months ago. The first month i saw some improvement in my kidney function. Since then it's continued to worsen. The stem cell therapy did not help the RA or the fibrosis. The stem cell therapy cost $10,000 dollars and it has not helped me at all.

When you finally see Calapai on your consultation. 10 minutes you discover the costs are exorbitant, no insurance reimbursement and they don't explain what they are going to do and the associated fees. He had me spend $3-400 only to find out it was an ultimate $5000 stem cell procedure that wasn't justified with any similar patients. He wanted me to read his other reviews on his website. Who does that? BEWARE.
