Always willing to listen to concerns

Met this Dr with newborn baby. He was brash and harsh in his manner and overtalked when I was expressing concerns. Told me to either breast feed or use formula but not both, and would not listen as I tried to explain that I don't produce enough milk for him at that time and needed to supplement the breast milk with formula. I relented only because he is a Dr and I am not, in addition to his forceful attitude. My baby started losing weight to verge of dehydration and not thriving so I called lactation specialist and took baby in to hospital. I will not be returning to Dr Calendine until my child is older and into sports, which I know he specializes in and has better reputation for.

Very long wait times at office. Very short time with you and doesn't always check patient while there. He does listen to most of what you say, and can brush you off or come across as rude. Great with children. Some staff are great, some need to find a different career. If child needs medication or sick, he will make sure that child is okay.

My daughter was seen over the weekend and saved us a trip to the ER. Friendly staff that I would recommend.

Third pediatrician i have tried with my newborn, finally found someone that seems to know what he is doing and cares. Very easy to schedule appointment

Excellent physician with a great staff. THey really care about my kids - all 6 of them!!!

He called day following last visit to check on my 3yo following a stomach bug.

He is 'to the point' but very smart. He has done more for my daughters stomach problems the last 2 months than her previous physician did last 3 yrs.

I had my son there three different times and was told there was nothing and no infection in his lungs two days ago by dr.calendine himself took him back today and dr.calendine's practioner diagnosed him as having bacterial pneumonia after i told her that i couldn't keep continuing to give him cough meds that he had been on them for 3 weeks now and finally he was treated with antibiotics today i was treated as if i didn't know what i was talking about when i took him two days ago and seen dr.calendine i was cut off when i was trying to talk him and he was very rude
