I went to 2 other dermatologists before I found Doctor Carr. He will take a minute to see how things are before he examines you. He actually asks about your life--where have you gone recently, what are you doing for summer, etc, while he does his exam. Most doctors don't seem to want to make any type of personal connection( or are too rushed), but Dr. Carr makes the time to do this. I live in Frisco and there are many dermdocs around me, but I am sticking with the Doctor that consistently makes me feel like a valued patient!

He is a very knowledgeable doctor. Down to earth and listens to our concerns. He is simply awesome. We started following his medications. Hope we will recover soon.

Dr. Carr was very impressive...from the moment I met him, I loved his demeanor, professionalism, and the way he communicated...I felt like I was in good hands and I have now found my permanent dermatologist, and would most certainly refer him to others...I wish I had come across this doctor before some others before who were not half as good as this guy...thank again Dr. Carr, I finally feel like I have a glimmer of hope with my skin condition...

The best in the area. The best bedside manners. I took my elderly mom there and soon after switched to him for my care as well!

Was only concerned about whether I had cancer on my face. I knew it was not! Never once listened or asked for my history. Or why I might be having my problem. I was the one that had to insist on certain procedures be ran. He had pre diagnosed. Dr. Carr gave unrealistic follow up time periods for a problem that was not getting better. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Carr has great bedside manner! If I call with a question or concern I get a response the same day. I never feel like he is rushing through the visit.

3 misdiagnosis later, I see Dr. Carr and he has my issue diagnosed and a treatment plan in place (bed bugs from a 5-Star Hotel in SF). Although I am completely mortified, he takes the time to explain how common this exposure is, how it is treated and how to avoid it in the future. He is well suited for his profession, very caring and has an exceptional staff that supports him.
