Dr. Christopher Bayard Chambers, MD

Due to Dr. Chambers' surgery, my son now requires another procedure to correct his eyelids because they were not made symmetrical. One eyelid is over-lifted with an "M" shape, while the other isn't lifted high enough, resembling a triangle. Dr. Chambers claimed that symmetry was purely cosmetic. As a result, my son developed a dominant eye and tilts his head to see properly. We consulted another doctor who explained that the parallel line technique used by Dr. Chambers isn't ideal for a natural eye shape, which caused the "M" shape. A better approach would have been to use an internal loop. We are relieved to have found a more suitable doctor, but my son now has to endure another surgery to correct the issues and remove the initial scarring. Looking back, our experience with Dr. Chambers feels like a nightmare.

Dr. Chambers is an artist. He is patient, kind, thougtful and put me at ease before, during and after surgery. I have sent several friends to him and we all look incredible! You can't tell that we have had surgery at all. People keep telling me I look so relaxed or well rested - little do they know that I went under the knife! If you are looking for an expert eye plastic surgeon, look no further - you've found your doctor!

After surgery my blood pressure was so high they gave me some pain meds. Would have been more appropriate to have done this prior. (I know 3 other people who had same surgery and they all had conscience sedation). Although Harborview is a teaching hospital I asked that the resident only observe but guess what? And... that eyelid is still puffy 18 months later. The doctor was trying to distract me during surgery as my hands were white knuckling the chair- but who can focus on replying to dumb questions when you can feel each cut, pull and stitch? The cost was much higher than going to a plastic surgeon that specializes in eyes. The facility and room fees are ridiculously high.

He did everything right and the results are amazing.

One of the greatest regrets of my life is trusting Dr. Christopher B. Chambers. He performed a surgery that scared my face horrifically. I've been to 3 plastic surgeons to ask for advice on how to correct it. All three said it was my thick skin that caused the scars. One was his colleague who said it wasn't my fault that I had thick skin. The other two said it was totally innapropriate to even have offered this particular surgery to correct the ptosis. He asked me after the IV's were in my arm "what surgery are we doing today" and gave me three options. That is when I should have known he was untrustworthy. Who asks a patient who is nervous about what kind of surgery that they want as they are being prepped for surgery? How can one be informed. People see me and the first thing they say is "it doesn't look that bad". They have just confirmed that doesn't even look good let alone great! I know my true beauty comes from within and I have to remind myself of that everyday… when I look in the mirror....even after 2 years of healing.

I had a blephroplasty 6 weeks ago with Dr. Chambers and I am so happy with my results. I look 10 years younger, everyone I know tells me how great I look. I chose Dr. Chambers after a great deal of research and now I'm sure I made the right decision.

I was sent to Dr. Chambers after being sent to multiple specialists that said they could not help me. I had tearing on the left side for around 6 months that never resolved. After an extensive examination, Dr. Chambers took the time to explain his findings, my diagnosis and the treatment options. He recommended surgery to fix the problem. His bedside manor, kindness and knowledge made me feel comfortable to proceed. I have been tear free ever since. I feel lucky to have such a caring skilled doctor.

My experience with Dr. Chambers was outstanding. It was difficult at first to get an appointment, but was well worth it. Dr. Chambers took time to talk me through my diagnosis and provided the options including surgery. I underwent eyelid surgery and could not be more happy with the results. I can see better and my friends tell me I look 10 years younger. I would recommend to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Chambers. He spent over 45 minutes with me in his office explaining every bit in detail. He was kind and diagnosed my eye problem (droopy eyelid). He did surgery with outstanding results.
