Dr. Coufal is one of two full-time orthopedic trauma surgeons at Muir Orthopaedic Specialists. He has extensive experience in fracture care, including fractures of the pelvis and accetabulum, and specialized in Ilizarov techniques for the treatment of acute fractures, alunions, non-unions, and correction of angular deformities. He completed his medical school and orthopedic residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
