Dr. Christopher Arthur Crean, MD

I would give him zero stars. He was abrupt and rude with a surly attitude . Had zero compassion for my 90 year old mother. He should not be dealing with the public in such an emotional setting like the ER. He should go into research and lock himself in a lab somewhere. He was the worst doctor I ever encountered. I hope he reads this and examines his work ethic and attitude. Really bad experience with him.

I'm happy to speak favorably about Dr. Crean. My experience with him in the emergency room was quite positive. He quickly diagnosed my issue and gave a concise summary of my immediate medical future. He was a no-nonsense guy, but I couldn't help but detect a good sense of humor beneath his workplace demeanor.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! I went into the ER extremely sick and blood was taken. A lot of the tests were abnormal which he DID NOT go over instead he advise me to take whiskey to sleep and honey. Thanks for medical advice! He was a smart ass with every question I had and if I had the energy I would’ve went completely off!! IF U GET HIM PLEASE ASK FOR ANOTHER PROVIDER

My boyfriend pulled or tore a muscle in his chest area and went to the ER since he couldn't even sit up or lay down. The DR was rude and rushed the exam. Did not explain what was actually wrong with him after he had XRay done. Wrote him a note to go back to work the next day - he couldnt even put socks on! Prescribed him motrin. no muscle relaxer or anything. Definitely would not recommend seeing Dr. Crean - especially if there is another Dr. on call!

Did not know what he was doing. Initiated the 16-month decline of my husband.

The intake & triage apparently failed to fill in symptoms properly and did not include several very important symptoms - severe nosebleeds, coughing up blood, dizziness, disoriented, had both UTI and sinus infection in past week. Medications were listed that were never given, and my allergies were not written down correctly even though I had them in a list. His diagnosis was you are wasting my time (all 60 seconds) because you aren’t going to drop dead tonight.

This dr gave me a 10 min lecture about narcotics before asking about my battle with chrones that I've had 15 years. He refused to help me and sent me home to go to another ER and pay!!! I hope this Dr gets as sick as I have been for 15 years trying to raise my family. Don't ever go to Somerset hospital.

Dr. Crean is a brilliant and skilled doctor. He treated my mother with respect and skill. He spent time explaining to us some very detailed aspects of my mom's condition when there was absolute chaos in the emergency room. I have no idea how these ER doctors work in such a stressful and chaotic place every day with people who are really sick and dying. We appreciated his knowledge and understanding and patience very much. He even went and got her a glass of water on his own because she said she was thirsty. Great doctor.
