Dr. Christopher Allen D Arcy, MD

I can’t believe some of the wait times! I’ve never waited more the 1 minute to Dr. D’arcy! I’ve been going to him for over 10 yrs. He’s great, I’ve had arthritis since childhood. He’s helped me so much. He very caring. He has great office staff. I’m so blessed to have found him!

Dr. Darcy is a caring physician. He seems sensitive to my feelings and needs and has provided care that has helped me greatly. I hate going to the doctor, but he makes the experience pleasant.

Saw Dr. D'Arcy today for the first time. He received my referral from my PCP yesterday and actually went over the referral in details and had his receptionist call me and schedule to see me first thing this morning. Had referrals to three other rheumatoid physicians who gave me appointments for 2 and 3 months out. even though my lab work warrants immediate attention.. I want to thank Dr. D'Arcy for his dedication and prompt attention to my situation. Dr. D'Arcy was very informative during my visit and answered all of my questions and I left his office feeling fortunate to have found a doctor who is going to take the time to help me.

The woman who answered the phone in the Wakefield office was unhelpful and very unpleasant. I will reconsider keeping the appointment I have based solely on this. Who wants to be put in a bad mood by the person who answers the phone? In my experience, the manners of a doctor's office staff are a good indicator of the care you'll receive. A physician who's paying attention doesn't allow poor manners in his office.

As a Lupus patient, I spent almost 1 1/2 years going to him and never got anywhere. He did not feel a "diagnosis" was important. All I ever got was come back in 3 months, come back in 3 months, come back in 3 months....

Super Doctor! Finally found a Doc that cared enough to go the extra mile and find out what the issue was not push it off on someone else. A bit hard to rate with 2 different offices. The Mystic Staff is SUPER, the Rhode Island office staff leaves a lot to be desired! Appts by referrals only which is a pain. I can get any MD to refer me so whats the point in that? I still highly recommend Dr. D'Arcy. He knows his buisness and thanks to him I'm walking again.

Dr Darcy is a competant physician but he is not particularly caring. He does not take a grest deal of time with his patients and seems to listen with half an ear. His office staff is very pleasant and responsive and the wait time is completely acceptable. I just wish I felt like he cared a little more about what was going on with my RA and was actually listening.

The doctor did not spend sufficient time with me to understand my problems. Less than 10 minutes for a first appointment is not appropriate no matter how thorough the intake survey. When I returned for the 2nd visit and told him the medication did not provide any relief he had no suggestion. I told him I was desperate for relief for my hip pain and he said "You didn't say your hip hurt." As if I'd had enough time to tell him every thing. He proposed physical therapy (my 3rd round through that with no positive result) , never suggested a follow up appointment. The physical therapist wrote an evaluation of why physical therapy wasn't going to work. And that was that. Why would I return to a doctor who seemed disinterested?
