Dr. Christopher Scott Ewin, MD

I like the fact that I did not wait at all for an appointment. I especially love the fact that he was very very thourough with me and my diagnosis. Hes a great teacher and helps me understand. What I dont like is the fact that Opiate dependant patients can say that about him. Clearly, it is his practice and he can run as he sees fit...If those patients were compliant and followed the rules they wouldnt be charged. It clearly says it in his contract. If you cant help yourselves, who will? Its not the Docs fault that your going off track......he's there to help...but alot of people take advantage of that. He's awesome and so is his staff :)

Dr. Ewin seems to have chosen the wrong profession. He is often wildly inappropriate and always stubborn and dogmatic. This is a person who expects his opinion to be respected when he isn't even thoughtful or open-minded enough to understand what is actually going on. He doesn't like to dig, he takes things at face value and then proceeds to offer his bigoted views on a subject of his choice. His personal value system is employed in every judgment call he makes, and as a result he seems reluctant to understand any condition that could potentially be attributed to the devil's work. This is not a person that should be practicing medicine in the 21st century, and doesn't even seem capable of conversing with someone without being offensive, grandiose, and judgmental. The nurses are atrociously apathetic and seem eternally bored and tired. I barely got a glance when I entered the office despite saying hello, and the check-in procedures are finicky and irrational (hilariously my height… was measured every month). Most of my polite emails went unanswered and I received condescending voicemail messages if somebody temperamentally decided I needed to get in there asap. I am done with this place. It only added to my sense that some days are just a series of interactions with narcissists.

This is by far the worst and most incompetent doctor in and around Fort Worth. He calls himself a "concierge" doctor, but he really should be called "money under the table and I'll tell all my other patients about you" doctor. If that isn't enough he literally puts your medical history and your current prescriptions/problems on blast to all of his patients and who knows who else. You have to see him every 2 weeks and literally pay CASH if on certain medications "Suboxone/Subutex" he is a really good scam artist. He will make you think your his only patient and he really cares about you until you make it to the pharmacy and the pharmacist is blown away by the deadly mix of drugs he put me on. When I called back he said, "Oops"... He also gave 30 day prescriptions to me every 2 weeks, and doesn't take health insurance. I think this is because insurance companies send in an approver and I now see why they didn't approve him. He literally ruined my Thanksgiving and almost my life.
