This man traumatized me. He preformed a tap block post cesarean while fully awake. I was screaming in pain for him to stop stop! And he wouldn’t. I can’t find any documentation of it on my my chart account. I am still in therapy for PTSD, and this was a year ago.

I posted a one-star review last year, but it got deleted, along with so many other negative reviews that he got. If you're a patient reading this, consider yourself warned and find a nicer, less arrogant doctor. I guarantee you will thank me for this head's up.

He was my mentor while I was shadowing him. He is very caring and helpful to his residents and students, and he has a power to make everyone around him happier. He is the most lovely doctor I’ve ever met before. He is very knowledgeable and values his patients alot. He is my big motivation in the medical field, and I am really looking forward to work with him as a member of the community! So if you ever have any concerns about meeting the right doctor, you should not have to worry at all if it’s Dr. Fjotland!

I had looked over all of the reviews for this anesthesiologist prior to meeting him and I have to say that all of the bad reviews are completely inaccurate. Dr Fjotland is extremely professional and goes out of his way to ensure his patients feel safe and comfortable. Also, he appeared to be a great teacher to residents and students following him and enthusiastic about his work. I would most definitely recommend this physical for whatever procedure you made need. Dr. Fjotland was my anesthesiologist for a pituitary gland tumor removal and he is fantastic. His bedside manner was informational and soothing concerning the operation. He put my family at ease and did a wonderful job.
