Dr. Christopher Gary Foss, MD

I still wonder where Dr Foss went. He was the best doctor I’ve ever had and the only provider I ever wanted to see consistently. Ever since he left allina I’ve just bounced around from provider to provide never finding his equal. Wish I knew where he went or if he’s still practicing.

Where did Christopher Foss go? My husband thinks he is the best doctor ever but we cannot locate him.

I am a 49 year old male, and as a rule of thumb do everything possible not to go to the doctor. My assumptions are a long wait, the doctor knows nothing about me and tells me to rest and come back in 4 days if I dont feel better. My wife encouraged me to visit her doctor, Dr Foss. She told me he was the BEST and even I would appreciate how amazing he is. Needless to say, some 6 years later, I could not agree more. When you visit him, he does his home work and you feel as though you are his own patient. Dr Foss, this is a much overdue review. Thanks for all you do.

Without question, the best doctor I've ever seen. My wife and I are never rushed when seeing him, he spends time listening and truly understanding his patients, and his knowledge across a wide range of ailments is almost encyclopedic. One of many examples of how good he is: he was able to eliminate both a staph and strep infection within a few days before I left for a 9 hour flight across the Pacific. Most importantly, he is just a really decent and caring person who combines high-quality care with rarely-found people skills. We couldn't have a better physician!

Chris is perhaps the best GP I have ever seen. He has tremendous empathy and exceptional listening skills. I feel he always takes the time to really understand the problem. He does a great job educating me regarding the diagnosis and cause.He also does not rush to over medicate. Often he looks for life style changes that can help reduce or eliminate the issue from happening again. That being said, he will prescribe medication as necessary.Thanks for everything Chris.

Dr.Foss is the best doctor I have ever seen. I have chronic symtoms that I have had difficulty finding relief from. It has been 11 years and I have seen so many doctors...and had many horrible experiences. This was my first appointment with Dr.Foss, and he blew me away. He spent 45 minutes with me. He addressed every one of my concerns, gave me some practical things to do, never acted like he was in a hurry, never acted like I was an annoyance, never interrupted me, showed so much compassion, drew things out for me to understand, showed me so much respect, asked how I felt about treatments he was suggesting, did not act like he was way better than me, oh my gosh I could go on and on. Everything a doctor should be and so much that I have unfortunately not seen in most of my previous doctors. I am so blessed to have found this man.

Thorough, smart, organized, kind, respectful...What more could you ask?

I have seen Dr. Foss for the last 3 years. He is the most caring compassionate Dr. I have a pain condition called RSD. He is familiar with this disease and really stays ahead of treatments and medications that could possibly help me.
