Dr. Friedrich has an M.D. from Rutgers and a Ph.D. in Biochemical Genetics from the University of Texas. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Minneapolis before completing a fellowship in Medical Genetics with Victor McKusick at Johns Hopkins. His previous faculty appointments were in the medical schools at Johns Hopkins and the University of Pennsylvania. For the past decade Dr. Christopher Friedrich has been developing programs in Jackson, MS. As a fully qualified, board-certified geneticist, he works with adult and pediatric patients with one goal in mind: using their bodys most basic building blocks to provide information which may help them and may help save the lives of their family. If family members know they are at risk for cancer, they know to get earlier and regular screenings. To Dr. Friedrich, earlier screenings lead to earlier detection and more lives saved. One star is really way to high of a review for him but there is no option for zero or negative stars. I took my son to see him. He is arrogant for no reason. It seems he is the only person impressed with himself and he does not like questions. He totally MISSED what another genetics physician saw with obvious symptoms leaving my son undiagnosed with a progressive disease and enduring more pain. My suggestion is to go anywhere else unless you just need him to run tests and follow what other doctors order. Worthless is a compliment for him.

This man is working Vanderbilt Pediatrics now. Maybe he was trying to escape his bad reputation in MS? He is very arrogant and cocky. I would never recommend this man (not worthy of being called a Dr.) The only positives I can take away from my interaction with this man is the fact that I'm an adult not a child and that he is old and hopefully close to retirement. I pray that no one else has to experience his lovely bedside manner.

Dr. Christopher Friedrich was openly rude and offended by me a RN asking him questions about my child that is severly affected with a painful connective tissue disorder. Isn't that what a Dr. is suppose to do? Answer your questions.... I would love nothing more than to see the Medical Board discipline him for his neglectful behavior. He took an oath regarding his medical license. It needs to be upheld. This man gives healthcare a horrible image. Shame on him when people are paying so much to get answers yet treated so disrespectfully. Atrocious and unacceptable behavior. Do not go to this physician.

Doctor acted very cocky and frankly appeared quite snobby. No bedside manner at all.

I already knew what I had but did not have it written in black and white yet. This Doctor has a degrer in genetics and he should not be sticking his nose in my childrens sickness. In my opinion this Doctor is way too cocky. He feels just because he has a degree that he is better and smarter than you. I felt as though he was picking on me about my weight. I havr EDS and was in severe pain and he gave me nothing.
