Dr. Christopher Shigeru Fukuda, MD

Very disappointed with Dr. Fukuyama. Waited 45 minutes in exam room for him to appear. No explaination other than sarcasm and rudeness. His personal appearance was unprofessional. Will not go back due to his offensive and sarcastic demeanor.

Extremely rude and didn't answer any questions. Didn't seem knowledgeable and didn't explain anything. By far the WORST dr. I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Would NOT recommend at all!!

I feel that I was not not my situation (2 different hospital stays) important. I was discharged from the hospital and a follow up appointment was made for Friday afternoon at 2. I got there checked in and was put in a room. A nurse came with a handful of samples and told me to take those home with me and to make a follow-up appointment on the way out. .mind you I had never seen a doctor. They were for another Patient in another room-- they did not know I was even there just to busy trying to go home in Friday afternoon. I am very dissatisfied with the operation he has. Looking for a new Doctor!

This was my first visit with Dr. Fuduka I was completely satisfied with the examination and his explanation of my situation. I highly recommend Dr Fuduka. I highly recommend Dr.

I will be reticent about ever seeing a male urologist again based on this guy. He had the relevant facts. I feel he had a diagnosis already set in mind due to my neurologic illness--at the expense of considering other causes, including a VERY common cause of urinary dysfunction in women. When I saw a female urologist for a second opinion, because I just did not believe Fukuda, she very much took female physiology, aging and body weight into consideration. She focused in on one drug Fukuda was aware I had taken, and saw the relationship of onset of the medication and my difficulties. Because of the long-acting nature of this medication, much more conservative steps are now under consideration, like dietary triggers (juice, caffeine), estrogen cream and timed voiding. We are waiting three months to see if my problem disappears as my estrogen rebounds. Diapers and catheters are not in the plan! It is the second opinion finding NO evidence of this being from my neurological disease. The… answer seems to be hormones, not failing nerves controlling the bladder.

Absolute chaos in the waiting room with children being VERY loud and RUNNING around!!! I cursed at least twice while filling out the forms because I could not hear myself think. Glad I showed up when I did as I received one of the last drinks of water from the dispenser, which was removed and not replaced.The "new patient" form was vague (e.g. meaning of "severe"), is problem current or occurred in the past (how far back?) and only had four lines for meds and three for conditions or surgeries. However, I felt Dr. Fukuda made up for how poor this form is and spent considerable time with me going over it.What I heard today left me feeling very distressed and pessimistic and is very different from ANY provider I have ever seen, so I am unclear whether to believe him or not. Are the other providers not going into my long-term prognosis because it unpleasant and I have to ask to get it? I am glad follow-up tests are in the offing, though the tests are in the urology realm and not on the… disease state(s) leading the the urology issue, so I will have other questions despite these tests.As a basic standard, a doctor should be clear as to what in the patient's treatment is changing, and he was not, and a staff person had to go ask him while with the next patient because I was going to leave.

My daughter was dealing with kidney issues and saw Dr. Fakuda for a couple years until the problem cleared up. Not only did he stike me (and my daughter) as very professional and personable, but many of my extended family also sees him and feels the same way. He's GREAT!
