Fantastic doctor and staff. Saved my life for performing the whipple procedure.

Dr. Christopher Gannon is absolutely a gem. He’s obviously extremely smart and exhibited outstanding people skills. I was nervous about my procedure but his professional approach and demeanor upon greeting me into his office put me at ease. He explained my issue in an easy to understand manner and reassured me that I was in the best of hands. He actually called me prior to my admission to give feedback and follow-up on my pre-opt work. Once admitted, I observed him to be busy but when he saw me he made a point to make me feel as if I was the most important person on the floor, stopped to chat as I was going through intake, spoke with the team assisting and said we would be getting underway shortly. I believe he even took time to call my wife right after surgery. Stopped by the room the next day bright and early to say everything had gone well. Outstanding communication and people skills on top of being an excellent surgeon. You can’t beat that. I would highly recommend him to anyone… shakes when he hears the word “Oncology.” By the way, my surgery went well. Thanks much Dr. Gannon.

By the time you get to the level of needing a doctor of his caliber, you are in a high-risk category for whatever procedure you need to have done. Facing a rather high-risk surgery, I felt completely at ease in his care. He was thorough in his explanation of what would take place, potential complications and set reasonable expectations for recovery. No one is ever fully prepared for what actually happens in a major surgery but being well informed going in makes a big difference. His staff is incredible and the wait time at his office was almost non-existant which is very rare in medical practices today. If you are needing the services of a top-notch surgeon in a high-risk procedure, you might want to seek him out. If nothing else, consider him for a second opinion. I know I would. And, finally, do not let his seemingly dry demeanor confuse you. He actually has a very good sense of humor. You just need to poke it a little!

The first 2 surgeries in less than 4 days were unsuccessful and the final result was death.

Dr. Gannon explained the issue to me and the steps needed to decide on a treatment. I don't need to hear all of the details and tailored his description with that in mind. The staff was great and I never sat around the waiting room for a long period of time. I highly recommend Dr. Gannon and his staff.

Dr. Gannon in my opinion is an excellent doctor. He truly cares about his patients. He explains everything in detail so that you can understand what is going to happen. Dr. Gannon is one in a million and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Gannon performed liver resection on me as a result of colon cancer spreading to the liver. He made me feel immediately at ease and explained what the procedure would entail. Surgery went 'textbook' and follow up was excellent. Would recommed Dr Gannon to any and all relatives, friends, and neighbors- He is a good Doctor..!

He was nice at my fathers first visit but after he wanted to do a surgery that a previous doctor said no to and was VERY angry that we cancelled a week before the date!!! Saying cant book OR time and think it can be filled! Went to another doctor and he suggested NO surgery!!

Great Doctor - caring staff - very good. My family said they felt like he really listened to them, and I know he took good care of me.
