Dr. Christopher Edward Gee, MD

Just visited with Christopher Gee who has been my Internist for over 24 years. As usual, another great appointment. His diagnostic skills coupled with his bedside manner are simply outstanding, He speaks with you in understandable terms where a patient can fully comprehend what is going on and the next steps to recovery. In addition, the team at Optum do a fabulous job in scheduling your next appointment and will assist you in any way to make your experience go smoothly. Stephen Durando

Worst office ever. Rude.

He is the best doctor I have ever had for my general health. He has the patience to listen to you and make you laugh too. I am so happy he is my doctor. Cannot say enough about him.

The doctor is very knowledgable. That being said, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment with him. The staff sucks and is constantly pushing a PA on you. I've been sick maybe 1x a year since I started going to Dr Gee 12 years ago and EVERY SINGLE TIME it is a war to get an appointment. What is the point of going to a doctor that you can NEVER see when you actually need them. No exceptions made for emergency situations either. If you feel like fighting with a nasty 20 something girl (Emily, Jenny, Melissa) every single time you call then by all means go to this doctor. Otherwise, there are plenty of knowledgeably doctors out there....RUN away from this practice

I love Dr. Gee. He is so informative, compassionate and spends time with you. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Gee is the best doctor I've ever had. He is kind, compassionate and really listens to what you have to say. He is thorough and his staff is excellent too.

I've been with Dr. Gee for over 10 years, even before he was with this practice and I've always found him to be an excellent doctor. However, the past few years his office staff has been so rude and very unprofessional. My recent encounter with them may have pushed me to look for a new doctor. I called to have a prescription refilled and they told me I had to come in for another appt. I explained I had been there a month ago and it was a mistake on how the doc wrote the prescription, he was supposed to write 3 months supply. They certainly didn't care about my situation and were very rude. I ask them to please have the doctor call me pertaining to the prescription situation and also to refer me to a gastroenterologist and his secretary replied "I telling you now he will NOT call you back"! How rude is that? Also, Dr. Gee never follows up. I've had other doctors personally return my phone calls the same day and follow up about test results on several separate occasions. I have… also had other family members who left this office because were told they weren't patients anymore since they hadn't been there in a while. Then when they ask for an new patient app, the secretary said "we are not taking any new patient right now". Really, how is that professional ?!?!

My husband and I both saw Dr. Gee and always felt comfortable and valued as patients for at least 10 years. When he joined pro-health things seemed different. Then he got a PA who misdiagnosed my husband's pneumonia, the only way we found out was it was pneumonia was a trip to emergency room. Never heard from Gee. Shame we're leaving ...

Dr. Gee was a rare gem of a physician until he joined the Pro Health network. ALL aspects of how he practices medicine have changed, from what tests he will order (blood or other diagnostic), how often he will see patients, what medication will be prescribed, and whether he will telephone patients back who are experiencing urgent health problems. His staff, still wonderful with the exception of one very difficult and rude person brought on when they joined Pro Health, seem overworked and unhappy. I am very sad to be leaving this practice.

Dr. Gee has recently joined a larger health network which makes it harder to get appointments and it has become more like a business instead of a health care professional. Office staff have denied patients the right to speak with their doctor. Unfortunately, after seeing Dr. Gee for 13 years, I have switched to a different PCP because of his decision to become more corporate.
