Dr. Christopher T Gorczynski, MD

I went to see this doctor with pain in my right hip, pain down the front of my right thigh, and numbness in my right knee. An assistant x-rayed my knee. Then the doctor appeared and, with the x-ray image on a large screen, explained that there was arthritis in the joint. He then recommended an injection of cortisone into the knee joint which I foolishly agreed to. Who ever heard of cortisone as a treatment for numbness? He then said he would address the hip situation at the next visit. He must have spent a total of seven minutes with me. Of course, my condition showed no improvement. Believe me, there will be no next visit.

Dr. Gorczynski is such a talented surgeon. He has been my orthopedist for the past 11 years. He's kind, takes time to listen, has an excellent bedside manner and extremely compassionate. I rarely wait more than five minutes to get called from the waiting room to an exam room. He gives individual quality attention to each patient. The only negative thing I could say is he is so popular that getting an appointment can be tough. I cannot fault him for that. His staff is excellent as well. Casey and Kelly are outstanding!!

Dr. Gorczynski, explains everything in plain English, answers all questions & makes sure you are comfortable with the treatment option being done.

This doctor is amazing and caring and takes his time with his patients. My children and myself see him and I can say after ever visit we leave there feeling hundred percent confident in his diagnosis. In Greene and in Columbia County it is really hard to find an orthopedic doctor that really knows what he is doing and treats his patient with love and respect. He doesn't treat you like he is better than you, he treat you just like a person should be treated. Meaning bedside manners are just AWESOME!! I can't thank him enough for what he has done for my children. Thanks Dr. Gorczynski for all you have done for my family!

Dr. Gorczynski replaced my right knee he did a beautiful job in surgery his staff was compassionate and helpful and his triage nurse could not have done a better job for me he also uses a dietitian to enable quicker healing. I was on my feet immediately after surgery and feeling quite good within a month I will have him do my left knee as circumstances permit. I highly recommend Dr. Gorczynski to anyone contemplating knee replacement surgery.

Professional, correct in his diagnosis, and with the treatment for my knee problem. Whats more important listens carefully to you, and answers your questions. Excellent support from his staff, and extremely punctual on each of my visits.

He is extremely thorough and meticulous in his diagnosis. If he doesn't have the answer he orders imaging tests to get the answer. I highly recommend him.

my only negative : after my surgery I was sent home. After pain block wore off, the pain was beyond description. I felt as though I should have remained in the hospital at least 24 hours. Pain management was not effective for over 48 hours.

Dr. Gorczynski and his staff are fantastic. I have had four surgeries on my knees and for each one he took the time to explain all the options available and what the pros and cons of each choice were and let me make the decision. I thought my cycling days were over but after a total knee replacement I am back on the bike and my knee feels great. I have had several doctors tell me that when they are ready for joint replacements, they are going to Dr. G. Thank you Dr. G, I'll see you when the right knee goes.
