Dr. Christopher David Grimsrud, MD

I have never felt so disrespected and misunderstood by a doctor. I only stuck with him because he had such a great reputation as a surgeon, and because he specializes in the anterior approach. Now lot’s of doctors do this approach. His contempt, utter lack of empathy, and lack of respect for me made me regret having had him do my surgery. He didn’t bother going over all of my scans, explaining my situation, or the surgery. He did a terrible job communicating how long I would need to be off work, causing me a huge problem with my employer. His smug disinterest in my case, and obvious disgust for me as a patient caused my recovery to suffer. He belittled my concerns, and refused to answer my questions in a clear and timely manner. I honestly wonder how good of a job he could have done given how much he obviously disliked me. I didn’t put it all together until after the surgery, having told myself throughout that poor bedside manner doesn’t matter. In the end his treatment of me hurt my… recovery in many ways. If I had it to do all over again, I would have used a different surgeon.

My recent experience on hip replacement done by Dr. Christopher Grimsrud is outstanding. I went in for a surgery with a pretty bad right hip & went home the same day with a new hip, minimal pain & very fast recovery. Has been two weeks since than & I all ready walk with out a walker or cane & NO PAIN! I even drove one day to the nearest store. My walking is normal again ! I highly recommend Dr. Grimsrud for your orthopedic needs. THANK YOU !
