Dr. Hardin has been practicing in Fort Smith for ten years following the completion of his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Also, he is an active member of the Sebastian County Medical Society (past President), the Arkansas Medical Society (current Trustee), and the American College of Physicians.
Before settling here, Dr. Hardin grew up in El Dorado, Arkansas where his father still practices and teaches medicine. Subsequently, he earned his BA in Biology from Vanderbilt University. Upon graduation, he attended medical school in Little Rock at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (MD) and then chose to stay there for his internship and residency. He still keeps in close contact with his attending physicians at UAMS through continuing education, phone consultations, or just for the comradery.
Here in Fort Smith, Dr. Hardin has a robust primary care practice …with his partner Todd Stewart, MD. In addition, Dr. Hardin is active in the community serving on local boards, working with UA Fort Smith Athletics, and serving his church family at First United Methodist Church. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his children, reading, backpacking, canoeing, and enjoying the Razorback games.
