Oversight is rarely appreciated. This physician's pro-action may well have preserved medical documentation or prevented harm. I have learned that quite a few Nurse Corps officers do not have a valid clinical license. Many cause harm. This physician remedied liberties a senior Navy nurse took with my medical information. As one of the most ethical physicians, he may have to contend with nurses, including senior nurses, who are otherwise.

Took my 3 yr old son in. At first he was polite, and seemed like he listened. When we started asking him a few question about his diagnosis, he started to turn. He became very rude, and acted like we were questioning his knowledge. What a big EGO this Dr has. I was only asking this as a concerned parent, as any other parent would do in my situation. When he left the room to get some papers, I asked the nurse a general question about bandage, the Dr walked back into the room and while the nurse was still talking - he interrupted the nurse and said to me "if you have any further question you need to direct them to me". I didn't know what to say. The nurse was embarrassed, and soon left the room. This is not how you treat a concerned parent. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Hope you don't get this Dr in the ER, if you do ask for another physician.

Excellent flight surgeon. His concern for servicemember health and safety in aviation is greatly appreciated.
