Dr. Christopher Martin Hicks, MD

Dr. Hicks is a very unsatisfactory physician. He is my primary at Kaiser but refuses to refer me to a specialist which I need. I’ve had very bad luck with the Internal Medicine docs at Kaiser.

Have now had multiple interactions with Dr. Hicks- all of which he didn't take seriously, and had no advice or help whatsoever. I spent $1000 on an MRI that I was told my results would get discussed with me in person or over the phone. After getting no call 2 days later, I tried getting in contact with him only to be told he'd be sending me an EMAIL. I was in horrific back pain, and his email response? "It's not herniated, just bulging and torn in multiple places around your discs. You don't need surgery, contact me if you have any further questions." No PT? No medication for pain? No advice? I've never experienced a more uncaring GP in my life.

I have had Dr. Hicks as my Doctor for over 18 years. He is interested and supportive of my problems. He has great medical knowledge. I trust him completely.

Misdiagnoses. Made recommendations, or lack thereof, based on his personal experiences and how a lumbar epidural injection he had didn't help, so he wasn't a believer in them. Stick the gold standard studies and facts.

i was suppose to get physical just checked fe things and ask questions did not take 2 of my major concerns seriously and refused to refer me to specialist i have heart disease and shoud see cardiologist every few years was told when i had chest pain or heart attack i now have to go out of network
